Just popped in to buy school shoes for my teenage son. Faalah was really kind and helpful. Took her time and was patient. I prefer Clark’s shoes due to their quality and durability but great to see the focus on customer service today

We were looking to get our son fitted for some new school shoes, given that he has clearly taken to chewing into his previous judging by the state of them at the end of last term.

We were greeted by the team at the desk, and asked to take a seat...I didn’t even get sat down before Mphatso joined us to start the fitting. She was wonderfully patient and accommodating, and nothing was too much to ask. Whilst she was getting a broader selection of shoes from the store room, my husband was being helped by the wonderful team at the til with a few queries he had.

We got the perfect pair of shoes and it was entirely stress free. Thank you Clarks Reading!

We were served by Ellis who was very welcoming and helpful. We were getting my nieces feet measured and he was very patient with her, and was able to put her at ease straight away. She is nearly 2 so very cheeky! He ensured that the shoes we had chosen fitted correctly and provided advice about the width and which shoe would fit better for her. We will definitely be back!

The store was busy and we were given a queuing
ticket, however Natalie promptly arrived and served us. This was my granddaughters first shoe fitting, well done Clarks for knowing what a 4 year old wants to wear for her first day at school. The unicorn on the sole was perfect. Bright purple trainers completed our purchase the whole experience was quick, friendly and professional. Thank you Natalie.

Popped in to the Reading branch without an appt to get school shoes for 2 kids, only had to wait a minute to be seen. Was looked after by Abigayle who was amazing on only her 3rd shift apparently. Very patient, listened to the kids feedback and suggested options to get best fit.

Gabby from the Reading store was so helpful. would recommend clark’s for great quality shoes and the staff are always lovely.

All the staff were ready to be helpful. We took a ticket to wait in a queue, but it was very quick. Emily served us and was helpful and smiley. She measured his feet, understood the style we needed and found some options for us. Thanks for your help Emily!

Our shop assistant was excellent. I have a very particular and difficult son when it comes to choosing school shoes. She dealt with it very well and negotiated with him in deciding on which pair he would like. usually a painful process but Abigail P in Reading made it simple.

Great patient service by Fadilah when choosing first school shoes for my daughter.

We had a friendly welcome when we arrived in the store and were guided to an assistance who helped us buy school shoes.
The assistant, Charlotte, introduced herself and also explained she was a trainee.
Charlotte was very helpful with measuring and fitting our school shoe; l don't think she needs to be a trainee anymore!

We were served by Gaby who was so patient and kind to the kids! She was just adorable!!!
The only reason went I’m not leaving 5 stars is because the store didn’t have in stock some styles so we had to work around what they had in the kids sizes (don’t have other Clark’s stores nearby so had to stick with the available)

We were served very promptly by a lovely young lady who straight away introduced herself by name to my 3 year old granddaughter, immediately gaining her trust and putting her at ease.She measured her feet in such a gentle ,friendly, fun way that had my granddaughter giggling and doing exactly what she asked as regards the procedure required to obtain a correct measurement. Once this was completed, she got a colleague to check the measurement, as she explained to us that it was her first day! She then assisted my granddaughter to choose some suitable trainers ( no easy job,my granddaughter is VERY choosy) once they had chosen and agreed on a pair,she continued to help her try them on,get them checked again by a colleague and we went on our way.Her name is Abigayle and she is an absolute asset to Reading Clarkes store.Thank you Abi

Yesterday, Dom was the only staff who was attending the customers. When I walked in around 2.55pm and my lunch break was about to get over by 7mins. On knowing that he quickly attended me, while he was attending the rest at the same time. His service was fast and swift and quite friendly. Loved how welcoming he was and greeting everyone with a broad smile. Keep up the great work Dom.
