What no spare fuel can spouts??!S
Bought an expensive fuel can a few years back - thinking I'd buy British and something that would last a good few years. Spout has been damaged and apparently a spare cannot be supplied. Will just buy a cheap one from Amazon next time!
Clarke spray gun AP16GF
Have owned clarke spray gun AP16GF for a year. Works well. Wanted to convert to disposable paint cup system. Tried Clarke spares sales & no one answered the phone. Eventually after much measuring found (male) thread of gun for the standard paint cup is M16.5 x 1.25. There is no adaptor available to take a disposable pot system with this thread. in the end coupled the gun thread to disposable paint cup with short length of silicone (red) heater hose & a couple of hose clips. Cheap and works fine.

Avoid using at all costs! Rubbish products and awful customer service
We bought a table router from Clarke which on unpacking was misssing a large number of parts as well as the plate not being square. On asking how this would be resolved, I did not receive a reply for 2 weeks by which time we had purchased the missing parts and fixed the machine as we needed it urgently for a project. When I finally heard back from them they advised that ALL these products were in the same condition so therefore ours could not be replaced with the only option being to return it for a refund. Not only was this not resolving anything, but the expectation was for them to arrnage its collection within a 10 hour period - wholey unacceptable when they were in the wrong. Instead I suggested that they offered a partial refund as we had managed to fix it and wanted to continue using it, to which an INCREDIBLY RUDE man from Clarke suggested that £50 would be adequate.
Not only do I now think poorly of the products sold by Clarke, but also think they have awful customer service!
Avoid using at all costs!

Awful customer service
I've sent multiple email enquiries to their parts department and I have a tracker on my email which tells me that they've opened it. They responded to my very first query, but then didn't bother to answer any of my follow-up queries. That's shockingly bad customer service and I'll never buy from them again. Seriously, what's the point in working in customer service when you don't bother to answer your customers? You're just there for the pay cheque and cannot be bothered to actually do the job they're paying you for? Useless.
Edit. Clarke International replied to this review and investigated the matter. Their customer service department then lied or passed on a falsehood that their colleagues had made, claiming that my emails had ended up in their spam folder on Outlook. My email tracker shows clearly that the emails were opened, some of them several times. Outlook does NOT automatically open emails that it puts into the spam folder, especially not opening them several times. Customer service...please don't try to excuse the deplorable behaviour of your colleagues in the parts department by lying to me to cover them. If you were told that the emails ended up in a spam folder then YOU were lied to by your colleagues. All that has achieved is a much worse review here on Trustpilot.
I suggest that people don't buy products from a company that ignores their customers, then lies despite overwhelming evidence showing that what they tell me isn't possible. I have sent further evidence to their Product Marketing Executive.

Dreadful parts service. Emailed several times no response despite auto saying company will reply within 3 days.
Take my advice people find an alternative product, read the reviews and stear clear of Clarke Tools.
I certainly won't be buying anymore of their products.

Purchased a CIG1432 portable garage and it was destroyed in a month! Zero help or goodwill and I’ve lost £1400 on a pile of scrap!
Brilliant Service :)
Kevin Simmons was very helpful and was able to get me exactly the kit I needed at a very reasonable price.
Delivery was very quick too. 10/10 guys!!!
Dreadful service and poor quality.
Dreadful service and poor quality.
Recently bought a Clarke "Harry hot wash" power washer. Advertised as being able to produce water up to 80degC. First few months it was fine... 40+decC temps....then it dropped off to barely warm. Tested temps and found 18- 20degC.
Sent off to Clarke repair centre via MachineMart, got it back 2 weeks later supposedly fixed but it's exactly the same. Sent it back again as its not right only to get it back with a "No fault found" report.
I have been refused a refund and I am now stuck with an expensive fuel hungry jet wash that doesn't operate as Advertised.
I'll buy elsewhere from now on. Machine Mart and Clarke hide behind the "engineers decision" and refuse to deal with the issue.
Absolutely dire spares service
Absolutely dire spares service, parts ordered in Jan 2024 (through Machine Mart), everytime I call to check the delivery date changes to another months time. currently Mid September but I'm not holding my breath.
USELESS rechargeable impact wrench 2014.
Bought rechargeable impact wrench 2014.

ive had 4 diffrent clarke products…
ive had 4 diffrent clarke products sover the last 4 years all total rubbish im the biggest fool for keep buying there junk from a spot welder that packed up after 5 spot welds , a mig welder that is also total junk , a space heater that makes so much noise id rather be freezing cold and finally a intellegent battery charger just bought 4 months ago in 2024 just falling apart the plastic handle just disintagrated whist just sitting on my work bench when i finally picked it up to use it it just fell off then the plastic front cover has disintegrated to the point it falls off all of my clarke products are the worst garage repair products i have ever purchased in my life truly shocking quality , the latest reveiws on here are clearly fake and from machine mart employees
Con merchants
Bought CTS10D saw about 5 years ago, now discontinued and can't get spares. WOULD NEVER PURCHASE CLARKE AGAIN. But machine mart still sell blades, that's not what I wanted. Now scrapped saw and bought elsewhere. I feel I was conned
Clarke International Rubbish
I purchased a Clarke CIR18Li 1/2” impact driver which has a rated torque of 245Nm.
Eager to test it, I tried to loosen the wheel nuts on my Volvo (140Nm) which it couldn’t manage!
I then loosened the nuts with a breaker bar and tried to tighten them with the impact driver, I then checked the torque with my torque wrench and found it to be only 100Nm on each of the wheel nuts, nowhere near the advertised 245Nm advertised.
Absolutely crap, do not buy!
What a joke of a company
What a disappointing experience! In early February, I placed an order for some spare parts with the promise of a one-week delivery. However, as February came to a close, I hadn't received anything. Upon reaching out, I encountered a rather discourteous individual who informed me that the delivery would now be by the end of March.
March passed, and yet again, no sign of the parts. I called once more, only to be met by the same impolite individual who now claimed the delivery would be pushed back to the end of May! Frustrated, I requested a refund, but even after three weeks, there was still no resolution in sight.
It's truly disappointing to encounter such poor service and communication from a company.
Non existent and untrained, unprofessional customer service
Absolutely non existent customer support. Holding for hours and then they don't have a clue. Untrained and unprofessional the guy on the other side called himself "milly" all for that but sound like your bothered and want to be at work, disgraceful customer service. Not quite sure what happen to this company but definitely a skeleton of itself. Don't even seem to know there own products. Will be taking all custom to screwfix
They couldn't be bothered to look up…
They couldn't be bothered to look up the model number on THEIR website for a replacement part. Indolent or indifferent, either way I wont trouble them for anything ever again.
Unable to use due to bonding on wrong side of belt
Purchased sanding belts for one of their sanding machines. I was expecting them to be of the same quality as the one fitted, but they came with the bonding on the sanding side, thus every time the belt reached the joint it jumped. This is dangerous so had to dump them and purchase others from after market seller which are 10 times better. Clarke's are made in China now, and it shows.
DO NOT BUY CLARKE PRODUCTS
Absolute disgrace of a company. I am the MD of a series of automotive garages based all over London. Your staff at the Leyton branch were ever so helpful until you got rid of them. You have shut the site down and transferred the work up to Nottingham Machine Mart, who are incompetent, to say the least. We have had several compressors gone down, and no one has been able to sort this out. These compressors will now land up as returns and will certainly not be buying anything. Clarke branded, and I would recommend to all, to do the same. it's just rebadged Chinese imports. That is now unsupported. It's what set you apart from others.
