The three items I purchased from Claire and Riley were of poor quality, e.g. workmanship, stitching and fabric was very cheap and flimsy. As a result I was returning all three pieces. My investigation said that this was a small family business in Cape May (NJ). This company states that return costs are the responsibility of the customer however nothing states that the return address is in China. Without insurance, depending on the return carrier, my costs would have been $80.00 or $200.00. The total cost of my purchase was under $200.00. They had me jumping through hoops with questions! Then they asked for me to send pictures! Next they said that I could keep the clothes and they would give me back a 20% refund approximately $32.00! Next, they said keep the clothes and they would give me a 30% refund and keep the clothes. Finally, another option was to simply keep the clothes and get store credit. Their clothes look very nice on the net but all three items I purchased were a total disappointment! It's called you get what you pay for. I would never trust anything on their website! Buyer BEWARE!! I will never make another purchase from Claire and Riley.
I will be donating this mess to the Goodwill/charity as I would never wear any of these items.
