Ordered a light for over £300 and got nothing. When I chased they came back saying “I can’t see that it’s not been sent”, they were going to check, but never came back. Messaged them again but got nothing back. Luckily bought on my credit card so will go down that route. Awful company
Easy to order and well priced, beautiful retro item - bedside lights.
Unfortunately, later advised the lights were out of stock until early March so with regret had to cancel the order.
Very good back up with cancellation- real person sorted everything. Apologised too for not letting me know sooner.

AVOID ALL PURCHASES. I bought some outdoor wall lights in November from Civaro what I thought was a company in Sweden. The lights were actually shipped from China. When they arrived my electrician would not fit them as they are not fit for UK IP electrical standards. I requested a return on numerous occasions only to receive an automated email. Eventually I received an incomplete address. When I pursued I was provided a postcode and shipped the items back via DHL. DHL have advised they still cannot contact the supplier to obtain paperwork required. Civaro respond occasionally saying they are dealing with it, which I now know they are not. I have now contacted the credit card company I purchased the lights with and raised a dispute and hope for a refund from them.
PLEASE never buy from this company!

Do not use this company, they are a scam. They are a Chinese company masquerading as a UK-based company. Products take weeks to arrive because they are shipped from China. As a result, they do not accept refunds (unless you are willing to pay to ship the item back to China…).

I wish I had read the reviews 1st 🙁 I ordered 2 pair of curtains on the 8th December with a 6-10 day lead time, ready for Xmas! I got 1 pair delivered in the 30th December, after contacting them and sending a picture of a missing pair(seriously) they ordered some more, only today 23rd jan, a single curtain has turned up so now I have 1.5 pair of curtains, also they don’t mention this stuff is made
And shipped from China, so the quality is very poor, please avoid

Appalling. Lamp masquerading as Scandinavian arrives from China and bears no relation to the photo. Cheap tat. 25% refund promised but I am having to chase. If refund does not materialise I will be reporting this company to Trading Standards as they are clearly a scam outfit. Avoid like the plague.

Purchased some outdoor lights from them. Sent one warm white and one cool white. After contacting them they were quick to send me a replacement out. However, after waiting 3 weeks for the replacement, they send the wrong size light out this time. I emailed them to explain that they had sent the wrong size to what I originally ordered. They informed me they would get back to me. 4 weeks on and silence. I have sent further emails asking for an update with no response. Seems they are not only incapable of sending the correct order out not once but twice. But also incapable of resolving the issue they have created. DO NOT USE! I’ve basically lost £150 from them as I have odd colour lights now.

After escalating my complaints to the relevant authorities, James, a manager from Civarò Customer Relations, contacted me and apologized for the case not being handled properly. A full refund was issued. Thank you for that. However, it is still not understandable why the return and refund were not approved at the initial stage, even though I had clearly demonstrated with photos that the item received was not as described.
Update:
No refund has been issued and the seller has stopped responding.
The website uses a .co.uk domain to create the impression of a UK based business, yet products are shipped from China without disclosure. The item received was significantly thinner and of much lower quality than advertised. The replacement sent was also incorrect, smaller than ordered, and again not as described.
The seller is attempting to require customers to return faulty goods to China at their own expense in order to obtain a refund. This is unreasonable and contrary to UK consumer law when goods are misrepresented.
The matter has now been reported to Trading Standards, Action Fraud, Nominet, and my bank for chargeback investigation.
Proceed with caution before purchasing from this website.

My product never arrived, the tracking number does not show any updates.

Update: The parcel has arrived. The product quality is very low. Do not recommend.
Also, I have been contacted by customer service by email due to shipment issue. If the parcel didn’t arrive, they could offer reshipment or %50 refund. So, if you dont get anything they can only refund you %50. Ridiculous.

Leaving another review as my issue has still not been resolved after 2 months! Bought an ‘A4’ frame which was too small for a standard A4 print. When I contacted customer service to arrange a return and refund I was told after several message exchanges that my options were to keep the faulty frame and receive only a 30% refund or return it for a refund with shipping costs to China covered by myself (more than the price of the faulty product). I have been passed around different agents and asked to explain the situation multiple times. Really poor service and resolution for a faulty product. Do not purchase from this site!

The item I ordered (table lamp) was, according to the website, “in stock”. The stock position implied delivery in a few days. In reality, the item may have been in stock somewhere in China but was evidently not in stock in UK. I was assured that delivery would be in 6-12 days. Instead, the item spent two weeks in transit in China and a further two weeks until delivery today. Contrary to the impression given on the website, the lamp is very small. Too big for my granddaughters dolls house but looking like a sad and unloved orphan in my sitting room.
The lamp has a critical metal component that has been poorly manufactured and is out of alignment. This means that the glass components cannot be aligned correctly and are out of level.
Overall an experience not to be repeated.

Avoid at all costs. I ordered a cocktail set for £59.99 and it never arrived. The tracking information I was given was completely useless and didn’t work at all. The company is impossible to contact — no replies, no explanations, nothing. This is beyond poor customer service and feels outright dishonest. In my experience, this appears to be a fake company taking money without delivering goods. Save yourself the stress and do not order from them.

This company is a scam. It masquerade as a UK company selling nordic products, what I received was a Chinese knockoff (delivered from China after a long time) which was made from the cheapest plastic I've ever seen and was stained and faulty. When I demanded a refund, they just said they'd sent me a replant product (which I did not request). I'm going to have to claim fraud with my bank. Avoid these scammers!
EDIT: After Civara saw my terrible review above they FINALLY responded to my many previously ignored emails and offered a mere 50% refund for the faulty product rather. Are you joking Civara? Get out of here, stealing my money for fake products and KINDLY offering to only give half of it back. Scammers.

I have not received the ordered item. I have had no email order confirmation or tracking info. In fact no email communication at all, apart from an automated response to an email I sent to them asking for an update on my order status. The response said that I would be hearing from them in 2 to 3 days. Needless to say ,I am well beyond that time scale and have heard nothing.
Payment was taken out of my account on 15th Nov.
I am in agreement with many other of your reviewers that Civaro is a fake company and this is a SCAM.

I read the reviews for this company after I had ordered and emailed to try to cancel as the reviews were so poor. I had a very quick response from James who agreed that the reviews were worrying but that the company had new owners, committed to great products and customer service and to ask that I give them a chance. I am so very pleased that I did. The lamp I ordered is beautiful! Excellent quality, very well packaged and even better than I’d expected so if you’re hesitating due to poor previous reviews don’t as, based on my experience, this company delivers in every sense! Thank you James - I’m very pleased I didn’t cancel my order!
My replacement light shade arrived within 2 weeks as promised. Well packaged and on time. Customer service was second to none.
I ordered a pretty shower curtain and I was sent instead a plastic bowl which I did not ask for or want. Not a good company to do business with

The foot rest/cushion is well made and comfortable to use. The cover is well made and it comes with beads to fill it with. Delivery time was a little slow, but we are happy with our purchase.
Ordered a set of 8 measuring spoons. 8 spoons turned up all the same which took over 3 weeks to arrive. Advised them of the error and told new spoons being sent, still awaiting them it's been 3 weeks now. Updated review 14/1/26Despite a frustrating experience I was contacted by the company in January offering an apology and ways to sort the issues I had experienced. The resulting customer experience has been excellent. They could have just ignored the issue and ran off with my money but they have been brilliant on the follow up
