They will take your money but never send anything
Where to start...
I bought a watch from their online shop in march, and was promised a quick delivery with shipping to Denmark from the UK. Not long after I bought the watch I recieved a confirmation e-mail with a reciept and a tracking ID for the package, which was supposedly shipped with Royal mail the same day I recieved the e-mail. So far everything seemed alright.
However, as I went on Royal Mail to check the supplied tracking number, I got a return message saying the package was not in their system. This, according to Royal Mail, could be because the package has an international destination, so I arm myself with patience and wait. A week goes by, and I contact the customer service to check if everything is okay, as I do not have the opportunity to check with Royal Mail. The response I get is that the package HAS been shipped and should arrive in just a couple of days. Again, the situation seems plausible and I wait for a couple of days. Another week goes by, and I contact them again, and this time the outbreak of the corona-virus is now causing some issues getting the package shipped, and I am again told to be patient, and wait.
A couple of weeks go by again, and I contact them to get some sort of information, as this situation seems more and more like a scam than a legal transaction. This time they tell me that they will make an inquiry with Royal Mail to see what has happened, and since then, there has been radio silence from their part. It has now been 4 months since I ordered the package, and I find myself having almost given up on the hope of ever seeing the watch.
I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!
They will take your money, but they will not deliver the product!

Great service!
Great service! The watch was packed nice and safely, without any causes for concern. The postage took about 10 days, which made me a bit unsure, so I wrote them an email for a track and trace number, they replied almost instantly which i awesome.
The watches are sent from the UK, despite the site being danish. Nothing wrong with that, but it made me unsure for a minute.
The watch is awesome, and the price was even better. I could definitely see myself ordering another watch from the site.

Bad costumer focus AND taxes and shipping
I regret to have purchased a watch from this site. I thought it was a local firm, but alas! I have not yet recieved my watch, despite that I have written to them 3 times, going on for more than a week. And the fim have not yet written back to me with an answer of any kind!.
The shipping states that it is free of charge via "Royal Mail" but it is not true - import taxes, and very very late delivery (if any delivery what so ever? - since I have not recieved it yet, and I can not talk to anybody at the firm).
So to all Danish buyers at the site - DO NOT PURCHACE FROM THIS FIRM.

Misinforming website and terrible customer service
The free delivery is +10 days but the website promises express delivery. They don't inform you the tracking number unless you request it via e-mail, because they know it's a hoax to get people to buy from them instead of through genuine sellers.
I can NOT recommend CityWatches to anyone.

Worst ever experience. It is a scam. I bought a watch for DKK. 848 and had to pay dkk. 400 extra in taxes eventhough it was written on their homepage, that the product is sold locally - it came from SINGAPORE. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED! NEVER AGAIN! IT IT A DROPSHIPPING SITE :-(

scam and fake company city watches

This is a cheating and deceiful company because my order has been sent to me from Singapore and got stuck in the Swedish customs . I shoped from them because they are Danish company , as I thought, and inside the EU .I payed in danish krona .I am not ready to pay again swedish cumstom fees and I do not even know which of the watches came from Singapore . The Swedish customs want their fees now.
The bottom line is I did not order nothing from Singapore and payed to danish company inside the EU.And one more thing they tryed to charge my paypal for double the sum.I ordered three watches for the sum of 300 eng pounds and they tryed to charge me for 600 pounds but Paypal stopped them . Naturaly they will say it was a misstake !! They deliberately mislead the EU-customers to think they are buying from inside EU . I will file formal complaint agaist them in Swedish and EU courts very soon. This company address is in the united kingdom

CitWatches are not what they appear to be.
I fully agree with the previous reviewer. Concealing a substantial part of the total cost of the product by only mentioning the import duties etc. in the general terms for purchase written in fine print at the bottom of the home page is bordering con art.
If CityWatches really were concered about their customers, they would not try to appear like a domestic company (via the URL). Instead they would make it perfectly clear in plain language next to the product that taxes, import duties VAT etc. has to be paid by the purchaser where applicable - and that the watch will be sent from Singapore so this applies to most countries. My advice to any prospective buyer is to find a a more sincere supplier. In short: Don't buy anything from Citywatches - ever.

I have ordered a nice watch to a good price.
Ordered in a domestic webshop and payd for in full.
Therefor I am extremly disapointed, that I had to pay toll and tax before I could get my watch.

False pretenses
I got my order, and it appears fine. But, like so many buyers on this page, feel tricked. I intentionally try to buy from local vendors. So I found CityWatches.dk by searching for .dk domains specifically. The site is entirely in Danish, and they describe themselves as "Denmark's leading on-line store."
I should have checked trustpilot before I ordered, because the operation behind CityWatches.dk has nothing to do with Denmark.
So, in addition to being tricked into not buying from a local vendor, the savings were _more_ than reversed by import taxes and DHL fees. I could have saved money AND gotten my watch much faster by buying from an actual Danish vendor.
Sally, or someone like her will respond and say "Taxes and fees are not our fault." But that's exactly the point. A local vendor pays the import fees for you. That's why their prices are higher. This outfit is using this fact to compete against local vendors. Which would be fine _if_ they were open about it.
I will not be using "CityWaches.dk" again, and I hope other buyers do more research than I did before using them.

Item in stock and yet the item takes over a week to arrive because it is shipped from Singapore to Denmark!! Then because the item is shipped (with free shipping DHL) I have to pay import customs on top of the price noted in the shop. Adding 50% to the price and hence might as well have purched in a local store.
