I do want to go into this shables. I dont have a job relating to you, your review has been left within minutes of Vada arriving to collect her Mac and demanding that I drop everything and provide a detailed report on the liquid damaged Mac. An house before I go on holiday.
Lets get a few thing correct, Vada dropped the mac off to be checked after a liquid spill, she was informed that it would cost £75 to have a look at it, ie take apart, clean and systematically check the motherboard stage by stage. After this is done we come back to the customer with a price for repair. If the customer declines the quote then the customer collects the Mac, if the customer goes ahead with repair they pay the quoted price - the £75.
We normally quote 5-7 days to get back to you when quiet and 7-10 days when busy.
After looking at the Mac, Vada was updated by Text mesage 14 Dec and Monday 19th Dec with a price for repair, I resent the message the following day and have yet to get a reply saying go ahead or not. Out of the blue on Tuesday Vada turned up at the shop with her Uncle, he was shouting at me that I ripped her off for £75, I pointed him in the direction of my website that confirms the £75 charge. Vada was advised of the charge at the time of dropping off the Mac. The Uncle wanted to collect the Mac then and there, if I had confirmation of intention from either You, the Uncle or Vada then I would have had the Mac ready for collection.
As far as I am concerned Vada was the customer but Ive had the Uncle turn up at the shop shouting and I presume it was you that phoned me a few Fridays ago asking questions about the Mac, I was day off and not in shop so didnt have any 100% correct details to share with you, I advised you to call back the following Monday which you didnt do.
At no point in the ducussion did I say that a full report on the Mac would be provided, however I did offer today to make that available over the Xmas Holidays by email, Vada didnt think this was quick enough for her.
In regard to your personal comments about me, I have never met you so thats some conclusion to make. Being professional is not arriving at my shop shouting that I am ripping people off when Iam being straight up about what I will and wont do and and when I will do it.
I hope that covers everything.
