Horrible experience, plus they call everyday with pressure sales.

All I can say is the company over promises and under delivers. They promised I would obtain increased sales if I used their company. They failed to deliver on the promised services. I never received one phone call or inquiry. This company is a scam! The company will promise you results, but you don't get any. If they call you, Hang up quickly!

Summary of the Incident

I am reporting a case of extortion, fraud, and business impersonation involving a company called CityLocalPro.com and an individual using the phone number +1 (346) 355-9695.

I initially hired CityLocalPro to help improve my Google Business Profile ranking and visibility. After several weeks, I discovered numerous negative reviews about this company online from other clients, reporting fraudulent and deceptive behavior.

When I revoked their access to my Google Business Profile, the company retaliated by:
1. Creating fake accounts using my business name and logo,
2. Posting false and defamatory reviews about my business on Google, and
3. Threatening to post additional bad reviews unless I made a payment.

Evidence of Extortion

On [insert date], I received text messages from +1 (346) 355-9695 demanding payment via Zelle.
The messages included explicit threats such as:

“If I can remove the bad review I can give 10 bad reviews every day. Please make the payment and get the chapter close.”

These texts are clear evidence of attempted extortion and online harassment. Screenshots of the messages have been preserved, showing the phone number, timestamps, and threats.

When I attempted to send the payment through Zelle, my bank automatically blocked the transaction, informing me that the recipient’s account was flagged for suspicious or fraudulent activity.

This confirms the individual or company is involved in known fraudulent transactions.

Horrible company spam calling even after i asked them to stop.

Received Robo from this company and at first Zack Cooper was very nice. But my gut says to do my research before hiring him to do anything. Found this site. So when he called back I said no I’m sorry I will not use your company because of your reviews and his attitude changed immediately. Hevwas really unprofessional even called me a liar and started sending unpleasant text messages. Blocked permanently. All in all don’t trust this company with any financial information and most certainly don’t use this company for marketing.

Avoid at all costs. Non stop phone harrasment, I've tried to tell 'James' multiple times to STOP CALLING MY BUSINESS LINE!! "we can help improve your yelp ads blah blah blah' WE ARE NOT INTERESTED!!!!!!

Not Trustworthy – Avoid This Company at All Costs

I strongly urge anyone considering working with this company to reconsider. Our experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare, and we are still dealing with the fallout. They claim to be based in the US, but this is highly questionable. Their operations and practices do not reflect the professionalism or transparency expected from a reputable business.

We are currently working with them on our company’s website, and it has been an incredibly frustrating experience. From the start, there have been constant misunderstandings and miscommunication. Despite our efforts to provide clear instructions and share our vision, they continuously ignore our input, insisting on doing things their way. Their lack of regard for client feedback has caused significant delays and frustration.

To make matters worse, after claiming the project was “completed,” they charged us an additional $1,000. We have repeatedly requested a refund for this unjustified charge, but they refuse to address the issue. Now, our website has been taken down entirely, and despite our multiple attempts to contact them and resolve the situation amicably, they have been unresponsive and unwilling to cooperate.

This company operates in a disorganized and unprofessional manner, leaving us feeling deceived and taken advantage of. Their behavior continues to raise serious concerns, and we deeply regret trusting them with such an important project.

Lastly, I want to address the owner, Daniel: what you are doing is wrong. Running a business this way is unethical and unfair to your clients. It’s time to take accountability for your actions.

In summary, stay away from this company. They are not trustworthy, and their practices are highly questionable. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration.

Terrible.. Servers are down and have been for who knows how long. Waste of money. No customer support to address the overloaded server. No response to multiple emails, calls and text messages. Avoid !!!!

This company has been supposedly putting.
Voice Search and optimization on my Google page. And landing pages nobody ever seems to find them. I'm just wasting money for nothing. No return on my investment very discouraged.

Please be aware that this company is a scam and only looking to waste your money and time. They claim to be base on US territory but they are not.

We work with them a year ago for our company’s website and have now put down our website and have try to reach out to them many times still trying to work things out with them in the most friendly way possible but they are not willing to cooperate.

Since the beginning they we were many misunderstandings and miscommunication regarding our the work requested. Did not attend to our ideas correctly and would always do their way.

took my money 9 months ago they haven't done anything, at the beginning they were answering my calls , now they wont answer at all , called and emailed many time , no one picking up the phone. They are fraud in my opinion. look like they answer the phone and promising you so you wont charge back , but once they feel that you cant charge back anymore they stop talking to you or answering the calls

Thieves. They high jacked my website. Switched servers to somewhere oversees went from first page on Google to kicked off because of these lowlifes. Now there’s no way to contact anyone. Real scum of the earth.

I signed contract with them last year to be first first on first page all cities inside 15 miles radius from my zip code, also paid them to rank website and 8 months later I’m not on first page , website rank is close to zero

They said it would take 3 months and has been 8 months or so

Update: 5/1/23 This review is for Citylocalpro, Citylocal101 which also goes by qualityresource and QRG. Several months ago I realized citylocalpro had double and triple charged me each month over a period of 14 months. I get accidents could happen, but I spoke with 4 different persons at this company, 2 of which claimed they were managers and no one seemed concerned on how this could happen. Nor did I receive an apology, only that they said they would get my money back to me. I can only assume it's company policy. It has been 8 weeks since they've been "working on it" (which is what I get every week) and they still have not returned my money.
I'm sure they will disregard this review as they have the other poor reviews. And I will say, my experience has been the same as the other 1 star reviewers.
I hired this company to develop landing pages and use keywords to have me show up first on google. The verbiage of these pages were written as if English was not their first language. I had to work with them for 2 weeks to get the wording to sound normal. Furthermore, the keyword phrases they have me ranked first on are not even relevant. You can search the top keywords on google for your services. I've been asking for specific keywords and I keep getting "we'll work on it". Invest your money elsewhere or keep a close eye on what you’re paying. I wish I could post evidence here to help others.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK! I’ve called about a dozen companies posted on their website posted as customers and most of these are nonexistent. The phone numbers either do not go through or the website is nonexistent or the company has changed. I did reach through to one guy that said that he hired city local pro to do marketing for four months and they did not generate any revenue for him.
This company does not seem legit!

I would not recommend this company. They sold me on trying 1 month no commitment. They targeted only 1 of the 5 zip codes they said they were going to start with and when I saw no return on investment took and additional months payment saying I had to give 30 days' notice to "lock in their work". They are scammers and there are plenty of other companies that do SEO work that are more credible.
