Very pleased with their service.
You never notice good service when things go well but when things go wrong, out of your control it is vital.
They put together our furniture and bed fell apart. They drove 100 miles up the A1 to fix it straight away. Very impressed.

Used City Removals for our recent house move. The guys worked extremely hard and everything was carried out efficiently. Would highly recommend the two day service as it takes a lot of the stress on moving day. Great company to use and I recommend to anyone moving house.

In my past experience, moving has always been incredibly stressful: unprofessional movers don't arrive on time, argue about the scope and/or price, break things, etc.

But none of that happened this time.

I had the exact opposite experience with City-Removals: they arrived early (around 6:30 AM) and were ready to start at exactly 8:00 AM, the agreed-upon time. They moved me from Essex to London and managed the entire project professionally. Furthermore, instead of arguing and making everything a big deal on a day when I was already extremely stressed, they were flexible and solution-oriented. Working with City-Removals was a real pleasure.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that next time I won't pack anything myself and will use their packing service so I can focus my time on other things I can do better than packing.

I cannot recommend City Removals enough! They are true professionals. They came with two (!) vans, which made it easier to find convenient parking near the house. I had a couple of precious (and heavy!) items, like a big mirror and some antique furniture, and they came fully equipped. They took the big mirror in a special padded bag, and all the wooden furniture was carefully wrapped. They were super nice to us, kind, and maintained a good mood while moving everything with a smile. Nichola from the office is so sweet and patiently explained everything. Thank you for the smooth and professional removal!

Excellent service, book with them n advance with plenty of notice and they are very flexible.

They do not try to upsell anything and very happy to do what you need. We asked for a flat to house move with boxing up service. All items looked after with great care and they know how to treat each item with care such as moving a piano.

Extremely professional and made the stress of moving as stress free as possible as at no point did I have to worry about them or their service.

Will defiantly use them again and I know friends of mine have used them as repeat customers and I can see why.

The 3 men and 2 vans arrived at the specified time of 8.00 am and started work immediately. They were there to pack my Kitchen and my bedroom but I had sorted the rest. They dismantled 2 Ikea wardrobes and a small garden box. They were very polite and did not stop the whole of the time they were with me. We then went to the new address and they re-assembled the items in the room where they were needed and efficiently worked until all was unpacked and then took the boxes that were theirs and we had emptied. I would highly recommend this company for their efficiency and friendly approach throughout the whole of the move. They made things so very pleasant and took away a lot of the stress that I was expecting.
