I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with Citu and their appointed agent regarding a serious issue that has been ongoing for nearly two years.

Citu and their agent (as confirmed by one of their own property representatives) took nearly £10,000 from us and subsequently altered the property deal, making it uneconomical for us to proceed with the purchase of the flat.

I have raised this matter directly with Citu and even emailed the CEO, Jonathan Wilson, but have received no response. Citu has since directed me back to the agent, who has refused to assist. As a result, both Citu and their agent have effectively declined to resolve the situation.

After two years of trying to reach a fair resolution, I remain extremely unhappy with how this matter has been handled and urgently request that it be properly reviewed and addressed. I would like Citu to contact me to resolve this issue.
Citu were working with the agent so they bear some of the responsiblity which thay have failed to admit. The CEO said he would deal with this but failed to respond. I am unahappy with the terrible service and feel I have been SCAMMED and conned by Citu. A warning to others.

Emily showed me around two properties in the Kelham Central development in Sheffield. Emily was really friendly, helpful and informative. She answered all my questions and was happy to spend as much time as I needed to get a good feel of the houses and the development as a whole.

I’ve been living in a Citu house for just over 3 years now and it’s been a mixed bag. I love the style, location, and convenience and the transformation of the area has been impressive to watch.

Unfortunately, I’ve also had a number of snagging issues and the after sales support has been, at times, pretty poor. There’s a tile coming away from the wall and a crack in the shower tray that I would suggest are a result of settlement and/or installation issues that Citu should be putting right, but they have deemed them maintenance issues and not their problem. Despite escalating this complaint in November, it wasn’t until after chasing them in December, February, and April that they responded to my complaint (and again refused to help).

Meanwhile, I’ve now had leaks in both bathrooms, one from a toilet and one from a sink. Whilst investigating the leak from the toilet, I’ve discovered various bits of rubbish left behind the plasterboard, including an old banana skin.

There were other issues, including some wildly out of tolerance window frames, that have been rectified but my overall impression of the quality of the workmanship is distinctly average.

Emily was fantastic at showing me round the different options at the fabulous Kelham development. Thank you!

Great recent experience with Sharan while looking at apartments in Citu’s Climate Innovation District. Nothing was ever too much trouble, including her arranging a supervised visit to the construction site to see the units being built, and she had a really nice zero pressure style throughout. I was highly impressed by both Sharan (and everyone else I’ve met at Citu) and the development in general.
