They froze my accounts for no reason. It took 4 months, complaints to the CFPB and my state's attorney general, and a lawsuit to get my money back.
In August 2023, I opened a few savings accounts here for its high yields. Then, in October 2023, I tried to make my first two withdraw requests after having more than $8,000 in there, but they were almost immediately denied and my accounts became frozen with all the funds. I have called customer service multiple times and even spoke with their superiors, they could not give me any information about my account freeze, saying that it is pending an investigation that could take an indefinite amount of time. The only plausible explanation for this is if they have evidence of me violating the US Patriot Act, but I know I did not do that, and I have not had any problems with any of the other banks I have accounts with. I have patiently waited for the account review to conclude itself for over three months now with no action taken on this, so I have to resort to filing a lawsuit against them to get my money out of there. Before the lawsuit, I even complained to the CFPB and my state's attorney general and they would not do anything to fix this.
It was only until I filed a lawsuit were they willing to unfreeze my accounts. They drag their feet on everything else.
