Buyer Beware! The creative juices dried up long ago, the original artists are hanging their heads in shame or rolling over in their graves. Even worse the performance had a dark and unsettling theme... See more
I remember it being very cool and well put together, but it didn’t quite have the “wow” factor I was expecting. Quite a lot of empty seats in the Royal Albert Hall - the tickets are too expensive. My... See more

Artist fantastic..."fillers"...ridiculous
Brought for my husband as a Christmas present.....massively disappointed. The artists themselves were fantastic but seemed to added "fillers" which were just ridiculous.....a man pretending to be a cat, a flea circus and finger art...such a shame....such an expense!
Dreadful disappointment
I am a long time fan of Cirque du Soleil and since my first experience in the big top at Battersea I have only missed 1 show at the Albert Hall.
Kurios was an absolute abomination. Instead of the usual edge of your seat and heart in mouth delights that we have become accustomed to, we were treated to a grown man pretending to be a cat, an invisible circus and a finger puppet show. I had taken my friend for her birthday and was very disappointed not to be able to show her the CdS that I have adored for years. Worse still, I have 4 tickets to take the family next week and I don't want to go.
No wonder there were so many empty seats - shame on you Cirque du Soleil.
And with no chance of a refund on the £500 spent for next week, I feel cheated and let down.

Went to see Cirque The Greatest Show at St Davids Hall Cardiff. Absolute waste of time and money.
Was left bored and underwhelmed, my wife and I left after the interval, couldn't sit there a minute longer
Bad Customer Service
As promised, because you didn't respond to any of our emails or messages. Cirque Du Soleil ripped us off!! My family purchased me 2 tickets for Christmas 2020, to see Kurios, Cabinet Of Curiosities. Due to COVID 19, the show got cancelled by Cirque Du Soleil. We have sent an enormous amount of messages to them about a replacement for another show. At first they responded to say that we would be given tickets for the next show available, but it never happened. Now they don't even bother responding!! Their tickets are not cheap and I just wonder how many other people lost money. DON'T SUPPORT THEM!
Went to see korios at Royal…
Went to see korios at Royal albert.previous shows have been amazing but this show lacked big stunts and too much amateurish humour, very dissappointing wont bother again.
Don’t waste your money
Very disappointing. I hate to say this but certain parts of the performance were incredibly amateurish. Seeing a fully grown man acting like a cat is something I would expect to see at the kids party not at a prestigious location like the Royal Albert Hall and in such a highly respected show as the Cirque du Soleil. Very overpriced and waste of time.
Thumbs down for KURIOS
Went to see Kurios at The Royal Albert Hall. After seeing Ovo at the same venue I was expecting more of the same jaw dropping stuff. This was NOT the same type of show. Pantomime, gimmicks and what was supposed to be comedy. It was so disappointing, especially considering costs of tickets. I really wished I hadn't bothered and I won't bother with Circ du Soleil again. Very sad:(
We watched the Corteo in Birmingham
We watched the Corteo in Birmingham. It was such an awful performance. Nothing special. One of the worst performance I attended for a very long time. It was messy, basic, unprofessional and definitely not worth the time or money
Terrible experience
Unorganised, boring and underwhelming. I regret buying tickets to their Birmingham event. It was the worst show I've seen in a couple of years
Awful
Awful. Left after an hour with a lot of other people. Do not waste your money
I went to see Corteo in Birmingham and…
I went to see Corteo in Birmingham and it was my first Cirque du Soleil show- I thought the staging was good, the see-thru drop curtains were great, costumes and sets were colourful and the staging drew me in. On the whole the performers were engaging to watch and clearly talented gymnasts, acrobats and performers. I liked the use of music It enhanced the feel of the show I would recommend it.
Totally underwhelming and disappointing
Totally underwhelming and disappointing.
It had no spectacular stunts or wow factor. If this was on BGT they would have hit the red buzzer. It was commentated in Italian so difficult to understand what was going on. If you are looking for thrills & stunts apart from the trapeze acts you will be very disappointed. What you get is juggling, clowns, puppet horses & clowns. It was so boring and underwhelming one of my friends fell asleep! Waste of money.
the most disappointing show ever.
Corteo… This is the most disappointing show i have ever seen. It was to be a treat for my friend and i but it was a total all out disaster. I have seen better at a local travelling Circus. There was absolutely nothing good about it, very expensive and offered no entertainment value at all, i felt i was in the middle of a nightmare. In no way would i ever recommend this not even to my worst enemy. A total waste of time and money.
Went to the O2 to see their show called Corteo
Went to the O2 to see their show called Corteo, have never been to a show before but have seen clips on the TV and it all looked wonderful and spectacular.
Well what can I say about the show I went to on Saturday. I left in the interval and feel I wasted an hour of my time trying to find something interesting to watch. It was boring, not many acrobatics etc. going on and even the audience participation was an embarrassment to the show. Dont go and waste your money
A very bad pantomime!
Amateurish, no atmosphere, wrong venue, overall description `a very bad pantomime` I feel I can give this fair review as I have been to their shows in the past which have been brilliant.
No refund?
No refund? Our performance was cancelled due to Covid - tickets 002-12860715 and 002-12998246 worth just under £1,000. Credit issued by Cirque du Soleil but despite me asking regularly over the past 3 months, no actual refund. I dont want a credit as I cant get to Vegas or wherever else they are performing. No answer when I call the expensive international phone number and emails just promise a call soon but none ever comes. This is a huge amount of money to be owed. Please refund me.
Watch if you can: Alegria, Kurios
I have watched two shows in Toronto, Alegria and Kurios, and both were great.
Mediocre at best.
Lucia at The Royal Albert Hall.
Not their best show.
A disappointing show. The show lacked content and fluidity. It was very male dominated, which is unusual for Cirque du soleil. However there were some fantastic parts to the show , the waterfall was superb and absolute genius.
The performers, as always were very good even though there were a lot of mistakes and errors. But that does not detract from their skills and bravery.
But for me the show lacked the usual va va voom.
And not really a great finale.
Whilst i appreciate that they have been away for nearly 2 years. This does not detract it was not up to par.
As a 30 year fan of Cirque du soleil and seen them many many times this show would not stop me seeing them again.
