Bought a new version 3 Chuug mug. It is beautifully made, handcrafted vessel, the fact that there are some minor defects reflects this isn’t mass produced and is high-quality with a lot of thought and effort into producing it. There was a minor issue that they sorted out quickly, perfect customer care. In fact went above and beyond which was surprising and refreshing.
Love the Chuug , use is all the time already. if you want something a little different than the mainstream then the Ghuug is a perfect addition for any household or man cave. Plus you’re supporting British business and innovation. Great company,

It’s the perfect way to drink beer. It stays cold without my hands feeling it and it has a great aesthetic.

After a disappointing start with the mug I received good communication from the company(e mail them as they’re too busy to answer phones)

They offered to replace the mug or refund, I considered and took the replacement with a free upgrade, they were prompt and courteous which is refreshing for customer services, I wish them the very best for the future

No customer service contact. Really enjoy the cup. I have a few medieval steins ( wood, metal, resin, and even horn) this is my favorite. I thought the rope handle was unnecessary, but after using it I really like it. I thought the cup was coming apart, and it turns out the metal liner is removable ( I never saw online that it screwed out). I wanted medium color wood with light colored rope. After watching a YouTube review and the guy loved the mug, but wished he’d gotten the dark with dark, I decided to go dark. So pretty. Multiple friends have already seen the cup and had to pick it up. It’s double the cost of any other cup I have. If you can afford it you’ll enjoy it.

An update to below. Chuug contacted me regarding my comments and review. They asked for some photos and agreed this was not the standard they wanted and arranged a replacement of the not so great cup, with a perfect one.

Great concept, poor delivery. Quality control is hit and miss. One cup great the other has a massive gap between the wood and stainless insert. There were dents on the lip of the second cup that created sharp points. Definitely would not recommend.

Just recieved the Chuug V3 as a birthday present and i am beyond happy with everything about it!
It is comfortable in my hand! The quality is outstanding! and the upgrade that has been made to have the metal flask removable to make it dishwasher friendly is great, the only issue i have found, which is nothing for me but maybe something for others, is that the flask doesn't go flush to the wood when you screw it in, but it doesn't affect the mug in anyway so i am not bothered by it!

Great Product all round and kinda want to get the other colours....best sweet talk the Mrs me thinks haha

Always get what is ordered, the quality is superb. I have V1 and love it. The update makes me want another.

For these for myself, my son, and son in law. Well packaged, decent presentation box, but spotty quality. Fit of stainless to wood mug is uneven and out of round. The stainless insert is held in with a soft plastic threaded base held to the wood mug with a single non-stainless drywall screw. Not confidence inspiring.

I hope we have fun “breaking them in” together, but I am not sure how well they will hold up with use. The overall aesthetic is great, but when you take it apart, an examine it, the material quality and the fit and finish are pretty lackluster. If I had had a chance to see them in person, I never would’ve spent the money on them.

Ordered the Dawn Charcoal and Dusk Natural, both arrived well packaged. Both really well made and I am very happy. My wife is going to get me the midnight one, so I have the full set
