Big Disappointment!

I recently went on the Dual Lodge Summer Safari with Churchill Wild. The two lodges are lovely and the lodge staff is exceptional, but my compliments end there. You are never told in the marketing material that you are never permitted to get close enough to wildlife to take photos without the use of a a high powered camera lens, so if you don't have one and the wildlife doesn't come close to the lodge, you will not get any decent photos. The guides are nice enough but absolutely militant their extensive rules about keeping you away from the wildlife at a ridiculous distance. Some of the guides were condescending and appeared to be put upon by the guests. I was actually yelled at by one of the guides and in front of other guests! I am an avid polar bear and wildlife lover and have been on wildlife safaris all over the world. I would never do anything to jeoooardize safety of the animals or myself. This was by far the worst wildlife trip I have ever been on. Find another polar bear adventure!
