Very poor experience
A truly disappointing outcome and the worst client service I’ve experienced. Complete lack of communication and unresponsive for long periods of time, particularly for two weeks after payment was made. The contact number on their website doesn’t work and there is no way of getting hold of Leon Stevens. He was poor to follow up and offer guidance after the initial call about the next steps. I wish I listened to my gut and terminated the agreement within the 14-day cooling off period - which when I suggested canceling, he wanted to charge for which is in contravention of the consumer rights regulations - red flag #1. I’m highly skeptical about all the 5 star reviews online as it’s as if those clients were dealing with a totally different company - all the positives highlighted are the flaws of Blue Tick / Churchills London (red flag #2). Not quite sure who I was dealing with - Leon Stevens or Dale Moore (linked in a prior email from Blue Tick), Blue Tick Tax Advisors and Accountants or Churchills London.
Blue Tick and Churchills London falsely advertise that they can save their clients the most money from tax amongst their competitors which I naively thought was a benefit and, after receiving professional advice, tax should be correct and not benchmarked about how much a company can save their clients (red flag #3). Following these ongoing issues, I had to engage a professional to provide accurate information as I had to redo all the calculations myself as they were wrong and could not be tied to my supporting documentation - as further validated by my new tax advisor.
