I received one of Chummy’s brownie boxes as a gift and absolutely loved it. The brownies were unreal, really rich, gooey and full of flavour, and the whole box disappeared far too quickly! Such a lovely gift to receive and I’ll definitely be ordering again. Would highly recommend.

Delivered 2 days late, rotten when they arrived
I selected a Saturday delivery this weekend for the brownies to be delivered for Father's day on Sunday, the brownies were left in a depot from Thursday to Monday when they were delivered on Monday morning.
The brownies were rotten and melted when they arrived
When I emailed customer service they said I needed to pay extra for Saturday delivery which was not clear on the website

We can confirm that, while a Saturday delivery date was selected, the Saturday shipping option was not selected or paid for at checkout. We do state during checkout that where a Saturday delivery date is chosen, Saturday delivery must also be selected as the shipping option; otherwise, the order will be sent using a weekday delivery service.
As the parcel was dispatched on a standard Next Day service, the courier’s next available delivery day was Monday. We are sorry that this meant the order did not arrive in time for Father’s Day.
All of our products are baked fresh on the day of dispatch and securely sealed to help maintain freshness for up to two weeks. However, we appreciate your concerns regarding the condition of the brownies on arrival did not meet expectations.
We have requested further information from you so that we can investigate this in more detail and assist further.

Very disappointing
Very disappointing. It turns out if you select Saturday delivery it doesn’t charge you for Saturday delivery, you get charged the normal fee and then it’s on you after the purchase to get in touch with them to pay extra.
I didn’t realise that and so missed Father’s Day delivery even though I’d selected the correct date on check out

I have looked into your order and can see that whilst Saturday delivery was selected, the Saturday shipping option was not selected or paid for at checkout.
We do state at checkout that if a Saturday delivery date is selected, Saturday must also be selected as the shipping option. Failure to do so will result in the order being sent on a weekday delivery service.
As the parcel was processed on a standard Next Day service, DPD will treat Monday as the next available delivery day.
We appreciate this was frustrating and hope this helps clarify the situation.

Disappointing
Bought a mixed selection box as a birthday gift. Not tasted as yet but smelt delicious. Unfortunately the Happy Birthday sleeve was damaged and creased in several places. Also some smudges and sticky patch on the box itself - disappointing.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Probably the BEST brownies you will ever taste! Ordering was easy via the website, the personal communication was a really nice touch, brownies arrived well packaged and on time.
Ordered a second time - the cupcakes this time - and again no problems at all with any stage of the process. More importantly the cupcakes were just as delicious as the brownies! THANK YOU!

I ordered a mixed box of brownies for a birthday and, although deliciously chocolatey, we couldn’t really taste the different flavours. For instance, the chocolate orange one ~ there was a segment on the top but no pieces within, therefore, it didn’t really taste like orange. Similarly with the other flavours like biscoff, raspberry & white chocolate, Ferraro and pistachio, they were just a little disappointing.
In February I had ordered a mixed box of cupcakes and they were perfect ~ lovely flavours throughout. So I prefer those to the brownies.

Great brownies/bakes and great prices!
Great brownies/Bronuts/blondies that I have used for gifts a good few times as they're so good!
They come in sturdy boxes, the prices are pretty much the best out of anywhere whilst also being a great product. I'll definitely continue to use Chummy's and I highly recommend.
