Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. I put the wrong address on my order. It was sorted out with no problems when I contacted them, friendly staff, quick delivery, parcel arrived in perfect condition.

Smashed item turned up late with lies.

Overpriced item did not turn up. When I chased the present up, the co.pany lied and said they had emailed me and advised that the perfect and pristine display was all that they had. It was 5 days to Christmas, so I had no choice. Then the posted me a smashed up item, which had clearly been returned already. Do not use this company

Poor quality items and incomplete order

My order arrived in a damaged box and part of it was missing. I emailed them for help - they did not respond but just sent a refund. No apology. An email from customer services would have been nice. At least I got my money back but I wouldn't order from them again - no care was taken in packing the items, the box was flimsy (hence the damage), and the quality of the leaf pick decorations isn't great.

Terrible online customer service

I would advise against ordering online with this company as the customer service is poor and if you have a need to return an item because it is faulty then you will encounter a defensive and difficult exchange. I have included their responses and my email to them in my review. I felt unacknowledged and my comments ignored. I also felt there was an insinuation that it was in some way my fault as you’ll see in their responses.

I ordered a lemax item in January. It arrived in good time, i tested it and it was faulty. It had moving parts and the motor was squealing. Seasons apologised and were swift in organising a replacement.

Unfortunately the replacement arrived with broken parts and visible signs of the item having been unpacked and used.

Seasons did not accept my claims or show any consideration of the inconvenience to me the customer they only informed me of the inconvenience to them.

I wanted a replacement, i got a refund, i had to chase the them as they received it back on 18 Feb, i didn’t receive any response, just a refund notification and only for the item, i have had to pay the original postage.

“This was a brand new item. To date we've not had any issues with this product, apart from the one you previously sent back.”

“The point i'm trying to make is that we only send out brand new items. Its not in our interest to send out damaged or faulty goods as it costs us time and money. Please note, we don't open the product boxes to check before dispatching, as these have come straight from the Lemax factory in the Far East to our warehouse. I'm not sure if Lemax run test some of their products beforehand or do a random QR test.”

I understand your point but I'm not convinced that you understand mine.
I don’t think and nor did i suggest that your business is deliberately sending out damaged or faulty items. And much as it is a cost and inconvenience to you, it is also to me. The only difference being, im the customer.

Regardless of what has happened in the past with this item. I have received a 2nd item that is faulty. If your are not willing to accept the overwhelming evidence that this item has been used. (Perhaps you we’re unknowing supplied an ex display item)
You could at least acknowledge that the penguins feet are not attached to its body as demonstrated my photo and thats not how they are supposed to be.

For you insurance purposes or for you to follow up with your suppliers i am giving you all the information you need in case you want to persue a claim and also to reassure you that i am not deliberately trying to waste anyones time.

I have dozens of Lemax items, my daughter loves her Christmas village, im used to how they are packaged new, im also used to the varying quality and sometimes having to glue the odd bit back on

My experience tells me this has been opened and used somewhere down the line.

Did my pictures open up?

I’ll list again:
The opener on the box is soft/creased and slightly torn as happens after use..
the polythene the ice rink in is severely crumpled. The figures were not correctly positioned
The paper had been badly folded and incorrectly put back
The felts on the bottoms of the skaters show signs of wear (from skating)
The ice ring has light surface scratches from use
The penguins feet are broken off
Part of the Christmas tree is also broken off.

I hope that’s helpful. I’ll send it back tomorrow.

Great Website & Items

I was a bit nervous making a purchase from ‘Seasons Garden & Christmas Outlet’ as they had no reviews on Trust Pilot.

However, I placed my order, which was quick and easy on their website, with some prices beating other sites.

The items have now arrived and I’m really happy with them all. No issues at all.

Would definitely purchase from them again without hesitation ☺️
