Well organised. Friendly drivers and Jules our host was brilliant. Kept us to timescales which isn’t easy on big groups and early starts. His personality helped and made the experience fun and motivational.

What an amazing challenge! Yes we were incredibly lucky with the weather and had an absolutely brilliant team but huge shout out to CAC! Jules was awesome. From the minute we got on the bus at Glasgow we knew we lucked out! We always knew what we were doing and going to be doing, but he was also enthusiastic, high energy and supportive. He walked up 2 of the 3 peaks with us too 💪🏻! Properly life affirming weekend. Could not recommend it more x

National 3 Peaks Challenge with CAC was wonderful. Jules is a legend and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Great communication and organisation. Brilliant from start to end.

Really wonderful experience with CAC 3 Peak Challenge, and withJules and Katja in particular. I loved every minute… even the gruelling ones ! Jules made it easy to stay on track and complete the miles even when I was digging deep into mind over matter territory. He quietly ensured everyone in the group was well taken care of and we felt like we were in very safe hands! Thank you again for a once in a lifetime experience.

Enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend. Credit to Jules keeping it fun and everyone on track to get the challenge completed. Especially doing this challenge solo he made me and the group feel one. Top man jules 👍

This is my second Choose a Challenge trip and it certainly did not disappoint. From the prep meetings to arriving in Nepal and having everything all sorted including hiring some equipment. The EBC trek was one of the best things I’ve done and that goes down to the team I was with. Buddha, our guide was incredible from start to finish and became a brother for life! He cared about the whole team and ensured the porters supporting us were part of the family, which was important to me as well as learning about Nepalese culture and knowledge of the Himalayan region.
Memories for a life time!

Did the EBC trek with choose a challenge and was the most incredible time I could have asked for. My guide was Buddha Bomjan, and I couldn't of had a better one. Right from when I landed in Nepal he greeted me in the airport and started showing me the Nepali culture which was great. The trek was absolutely incredible, with Buddha teaching us everything he knew about the Everest region. We had so much laughs and jokes throughout the trip and made memories for a lifetime. When I had a massive headache in Lobuche, he looked after me and ensured I'd be alright for the Base Camp push the following day. He made sure we had early tickets for the Lukla to Ramecchap flight before any bad weather came in. He looked after me every step of the way, and I couldn't of asked for someone better to lead this trip. An incredible person and I'm very grateful to have met him. A friend for life.

I did the EBC trek which was absolutely incredible. Everything from when I landed was sorted out and the hotel before I set off was excellent. I met the guide and we travelled to the airport the following day. I can't express how much the guide made the trip. He and his team of porters were absolutely AMAZING at every step of this unforgettable trek. I've met a friend/brother for life and can't wait to come back to see him personally! This is my 3rd trip with the company (Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu previously)! I am US based so my first 2 trips I was dealing with US team but now with no more US operations, I was dealing with the UK team with this trip. I will start off to say that every trip I’ve done with them, including this one, have been incredible! From the time you arrive in country you are meet by the local team/guides in country that they hire to take you on the trip. For EBC we had our head guide Ramesh, and 2 porters Laxman Rai and Balaram Puri. They were all fantastic and would recommend 100%! If I am ever back in Nepal they are the first people I am contacting. Ramesh was with us for the entirety our trip from picking us from the airport to our everyday mountain guide to setting up tours for us afterwards back in Kathmandu to arranging to our rides back to the airport at the end. He is a very experienced and caring guide and it was a pleasure to have him as our guide. Our porters were also awesome to have! They carried our big bags the whole way, were always there to help us out, and kind the entire time! The best team you could ask for on EBC Trek! Everything was super well organized while we were there and we had great accommodations both on and off mountain! The main complaint I have is with how the company does business behind the scenes. I have been through 3 trips with, multiple teams of people, and was involved both pre and post COVID. Pre COVID everything was great, but things went way downhill after COVID. I understand it was very hard on the travel industry, but there was a severe lack of communication, they jacked up the prices of our trips even after we paid and fundraise all of it, and broke some promises. It was very frustrating dealing with them on the back end the last couple years for me personally, I did not agree with some of their business moves. It got better once the UK team took over my trip this time around, but previous to that I was very frustrated with them. BUT, once I got to each of the countries for the trips, they were awesome.

Just done the ebc with choose a challenge all in aid of Dementia UK have to say was so so well organised from everything start to finish also the guide ramesh and his team of porters laxman and Bala ram puri were so professional at there jobs I trust them with my life so so caring knew the mountains inside out couldn't ask for better so choose a challenge congratulations on making my dream come true please please keep the company you use in kathmandu for the guide ramesh and his team they were unreal and thankyou for such organised trip I will definitely be booking other trips through this company

Genuinely the best experience ever. Perfectly planned, Rhiannon was such a laugh and had everything sorted so no stress on our behalf. Such a great group on the trip as well, we all got on like a house on fire. Would do it all again in a heartbeat!!

Loved the whole experience! The marathon was brilliant, the group was great and Budapest was a beautiful city to get to explore.

Really enjoyable trip, offered the right balance between giving us a structure whilst still having the freedom to do what we wanted too. Any issues (none of which were their fault!) were taken care of. Incredible experience, would recommend to anyone!

I had the incredible opportunity to embark on a journey to Everest Base Camp with the fantastic guidance of Manoj, courtesy of the "Choose a Challenge" company. I can't say enough about what an exceptional experience it was, thanks in large part to our remarkable tour guide.

Manoj was an absolute gem throughout the entire adventure. Not only did he possess an in-depth knowledge of the terrain, but he also brought a sense of humor that added an extra layer of enjoyment to the trip. His witty anecdotes and jokes lightened the mood, even during the most challenging parts of our ascent.

Manoj's patience was truly remarkable. He ensured that everyone in the group was comfortable and confident, no matter their experience level. His reassuring presence made every step of the journey feel manageable.

What stood out the most was Manoj's warmth and friendliness. He made it a priority to connect with each member of the group, making us feel like one big family. It was evident that he genuinely cared about our well-being and enjoyment. His friendly demeanor created a positive and inclusive atmosphere that made the trip even more memorable.

Manoj's efficiency in organizing the trek was impressive. He had a keen eye for detail, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Whether it was coordinating our daily schedules, arranging accommodations, or handling unexpected situations, he handled it all with remarkable efficiency.

This trek to Everest Base Camp was undoubtedly a life-changing experience. The breathtaking views and the sense of accomplishment were awe-inspiring, and Manoj played an integral role in making it all possible. His guidance, support, and positive attitude were invaluable throughout the journey.

I can't recommend Manoj and "Choose a Challenge" enough. If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure with a skilled, funny, patient, and friendly guide, Manoj is the person to choose. Recently completed the Budapest marathon and was a great trip from start to finish. Our guide Rhiannon was super friendly and made the trip all go smoothly. Would highly recommend choose a challenge and this trip in particular, to anyone looking to complete their first marathon or looking for a PB!

What an experience!! Our group leader Rhiannon saved the day on various occasions and made sure we could enjoy the trip as much as we did. She dealt with a cancelled flight, lost luggage, organised activities and cheered all of us on during the marathon, waiting at the finish line in a cold and wet Budapest.

had such a great time on the mountain. all of the porters were such great help and very supportive when i felt poorly on the mountain and had to come back down. Harry was very helpful when being at the hotel and made sure i had everything i needed when i was back down from the mountain. he was also very helpful in organising things for the group to do when we were in zanzibar. Had such a great time when i was out there.
