Fraudulent overmilage charges

Fraudulent overmilage charges. The driver was great but at the end of the trip, the company used a wrong odometer reading to say we had traveled 100km more than we actually had. They attempted to fraudulently charge us more until we realized the error. Use with caution.

Hi Janice, thank you for sharing your experience.
Indeed, there was a mistake with the overmileage calculations, which we addressed immediately.

However, your claim "they attempted to fraudulently charge us" is simply not true. Here's how things unfolded:
1)The driver mistakenly sent the photo of the starting mileage from the previous day (which is a human error). This is why there was a 100 km difference at the end of the day.

2) Once the error was identified, we adjusted it instantly and communicated the correct amount to be settled by you manually via a Stripe-secured payment link. "Attempt to fraudulently charge" - means to do it without your consent, which is not the case here.

We believe you should tell the real reason why you wrote this review (as you communicated it to us):
At the last minute, you changed your plans (6 hours before the pick-up time), and asked for a refund.
We usually provide:
Full refund - 24+ hours' notice
Half refund - 12 to 24 hours' notice
No refund - less than 12 hours' notice or no-show.

Your request at 2 am to cancel your 8 am scheduled pickup was something we unfortunately really couldn't help you with.

To which you replied: "It's fine, I'll leave a review on Trustpilot accordingly."

We apologise for the inconvenience caused. After this case, we implemented a better system to track mileage so that this type of error does not repeat in the future. Thank you for trusting us with your orders!
