Renewal went pretty smooth. Website was easy to navigate and download renewal certificate, etc.

Too much emphasis on CSRS on the annual test. The test needs to be updated to more accurately reflect the actual target market of its representatives. Also, Snow Fed needs to publish a comprehensive study guide each year rather than only making the "updates" available.

A Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBC) is important to federal employees as both an advisor and an advocate. A ChFEBC's trained ability to hypothetically test alternatives and to project outcomes validates employees who are on the right trajectory and alerts those who aren't. It's excellent training for those who want to serve people who tirelessly serve our citizens.

I found that the study materials for the ChFEBC program was the single most extensive collection of Federal Benefits and retirement information I have ever seen.
