Nearly a decade, gone in nearly an hour
We had a large old shed (big enough for someone to walk into) full of half decomposing flooring, bedding, and various other bits very difficult for us to move ourselves. We did try to do it ourselves, but after an hour of barely getting nowhere, we gave up and looked for a rubbish removal service. These guys gave us a quote within an hour, booked us in for a mid-day slot the next day, requesting 20% deposit upfront.
I was a bit paranoid so I was probably a pain to deal with, but the guy I spoke to was happy to confirm the price after viewing the job, very close to the original quote from the pictures. They sent through an invoice for the agreed amount on request, and we left the property to let the guys do their thing.
They were done in about an hour and a half, deconstructed the shed (which we agreed during the quote phase), and cleaned the area. They sent us video evidence of the job completion before we paid.
No problems, the workers were polite, and a bunch of loose crap built up over nearly a decade was gone as if it never existed.
