From listening to Cheryl on a lunchtime talks webinar, her words resonated with me instantly and so I reached out and am so glad that Cheryl had the capacity to help me. I find it hard to discuss many things and I’ve always felt like I have to deal with issues on my own but from the initial conversation I knew that Cheryl had my best interests at heart and was totally impartial to everything that had, and is happening in my world right now.

Cheryl’s ability to coach you to have the #toughtalks is nothing short of amazing and although hard, they aren’t as bad as what we envisage they will be and actually mean that you start to understand when your boundaries are being crossed, either by yourself or others and that has been instrumental for me.

It was Cheryl's no nonsense posts on LinkedIn that got my attention. I was in a rut, not knowing how to extricate myself from a futile work situation, certainly unable to communicate it openly, directly and with truth and not really knowing the direction I should take. This was having a serious effect on my self confidence, my friendships and most painfully, on my relationships with family.

One thing I did know was I needed guidance, support and from someone that was never going to shy away from telling me the hard truths if I needed to hear them.

From the initial scoping call, I knew she was the right person for me.... ok the Yorkshire connection certainly helped, but joking aside, it was evident from the first minute that we would be able to work together, that we would speak truth to each other and that she had the experience, empathy, understanding and fire to support me to the hilt and help me find my way.

I worked with Cheryl over 18 months and the results have been astounding. From the self sabotaging, blame throwing place I was in, to someone who now takes charge of their situation, deals with all situations empathetically, with clarity and truth and is now in their dream role as Head of Privacy & Data Governance, also a Chief Compliance officer for a fantastic charity AND part of research and development groups helping to change the face of Data in Real Estate and the energy sector..... it was THE best investment I have ever made. Period.

I cannot thank you enough Cheryl, your unswerving belief in me, in my capabilities and in me as a human are immeasurable and I am eternally grateful.

As a company we have worked with Cheryl in many different ways and have always found her input incredibly valuable, but a key thing that took my team to the next level was having Cheryl in for a session on establishing authority and setting great intentions.

When we first started coaching together, I doubted my own skills, my decision making ability and so deep down myself at times.

I often spent too much time thinking about what other people might think of me. I used to seek out other people’s opinions when I was faced with a difficult decision because I didn’t feel fully capable of reaching the right outcome myself. What I discovered after just a couple of sessions with Cheryl is that I didn’t need to do that. People’s opinions were only what I thought I needed to hear when making a crucial decision in my life; however now I know and believe that every person will have a different view about you which is based around their own experiences and so they will advise you based on what they ‘think' is right. While my path will not always be what another person would choose, it is something that had to only sit right with me. I am the only person who can assess my decision, actions, and my life and now I have the confidence and tools to be able to trust my own journey and process.

Chery helped me to realise that all I was looking for was already in me. She helped me to see my worth - the value of my thoughts, my skills and myself as a whole. I can honestly say that the only thing that matters now is how I see and treat myself
