While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

TO THOSE INTERVIEWING TO WORK HERE

TO THOSE INTERVIEWING TO WORK HERE: Working at Chef’s Toys was one of the most frustrating professional experiences I’ve had. There was no real onboarding process, no CRM system in place, and zero structured training — you’re essentially thrown into the deep end with little to no support.

Management, especially under Geoff Staff, fostered a negative and demoralizing environment. Instead of providing guidance or strategy, he relied on threats and pressure, often criticizing rather than coaching. It’s clear that leadership is disorganized — even basic processes like order entry or follow-up are handled poorly.

If you’re looking for a company that values its people, invests in proper tools, or offers clear direction, Chef’s Toys is not it. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.
