Best Kitchen Appliance
Unbelievably easy to use, and makes amazing food. I love using the Joule--I can put my meat in, then do work or go shopping while it cooks. I'll then finish it up in a pan for restaurant quality meals with half the effort of normal cooking. The app offers great suggestions for recipes and seasonings as well. This is THE BEST KITCHEN APPLIANCE I OWN.

Easy, portable and fun
The unit works well with its application. Its compact and portable to anywhere including your friend's dinner party. The visual guides are easy to use. Anyone can use there Joule to cook foods like steaks as good as you can get in any restaurant without any culinary experience.

Fantastic
While skeptical at first, this has proven to be one magical kitchen tool. It is extremely versatile and I see no end to the uses for it. I have already tried many dishes and all have turned out fantastic. The app is very user friendly and easy to use. The Joule itself is sleek and slim and heats water very fast.

Restaurant Grade Cooking in Your Home
The recipes, when followed, produce amazing results. Most of my cooking has been with steak and chicken and I am happy with how the food turns out. Having a steak come out perfectly even if you go past the prescribed cooking time is very convenient. You don't have to worry about stopping the cooking process at a precise time. The steak will stay at that level of doneness as much as an hour past the cooking time.

Best addition to my kitchen
Best addition to my kitchen. I love hard boiled eggs but was tired of the guessing game on the stove and farm fresh eggs never peel easy. However, 20 minutes at 194 makes the most amazing easy to peel eggs. I’ve done beef chicken and fish. All amazing. Highly recommend

Darn Near Great
As someone new to sous vide cooking I will begin by saying my Joule is working like a dream so far. The video demonstrations are very helpful. My only quibbles lie in the app and website which are very nice; however navigating through them is not always intuitive - at least not to me. An example would be a recipe found and saved on the website have to be ferreted out in the app. If they mirrored each other working between the two would be a LOT easier. Otherwise I’d say job well done. I intend to get a second unit at some point.
