Chef Barbara was our chef in Venice in April 2026. We wanted to do something special for my 50th birthday. This was an amazing time. Chef Barbara was phenomenal. We had great communication prior to her showing up. She was professional and yet she was so easy to talk to. The meal she prepared was delicious and much more than we ever imagined possible. My family and I truly loved having her. I hope we can meet again one day. I would highly recommend choosing Chef Barbara! Thank you again Chef!

The experience with Chef On Demand is highly dependent on the chef you are assigned. If you are lucky and get a very skilled chef, the evening can be enjoyable. Unfortunately, in my case, the experience itself did not fully meet my expectations.

I was hoping for a cozy, premium dinner with my family, but the food quality and overall organization felt below what I would expect from a service positioned as a “premium” private chef experience. While the platform works with a large number of chefs across Italy, this can sometimes make the level of consistency difficult to guarantee.

That said, I do want to highlight the customer service. After sharing my feedback, the team handled the situation professionally and seriously. They offered a full refund along with a 30% discount on a future experience, showing genuine attention to customer care and a willingness to take responsibility. This approach was appreciated and reflects a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Because of how well the situation was managed, I am willing to try the service again, as it may simply be that I was unlucky with this particular experience.

Chef Roberta put together a dinner for 10 for us in Florence and it was fabulous! The food was delicious. Roberta was so gracious and we had zero responsibility other than to enjoy. Perfecto!

Our experience with Chef Daniele and Chef on Demand was incredible, from start to finish. They were accommodating and commutative in the scheduling process, worked with us to create the perfect menu, and came prepared on the night of the event with assistants and a drink specialist. Chef Daniele cooked an amazing meal, and it was truly some of the best food we had during our entire stay in Rome. The preparation of the food was beautiful, and they were timely, professional and kind. They came prepared and cleaned everything. We have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience, Chef Daniele and the food. Thank you!

Poor organisation and poor communication by Giulia. Possible attempt to rip you off over festive season.
We got a quote for a private chef over the Christmas period. The quote should be valid for 7 days 16th-22nd Nov 2025. While I had a few queries during this time, specifically mentioning that I intend to book, at no point did Giulia mentioned a payment was needed to secure the booking or we would lose the chef.
On 22nd Nov, I was told by Giulia that the original quote had expired and the new quote was AED10,000 higher! Needless to say, we decided to go with another company. What a disappointment!

Diego was amazing, he made very good food for lunch. He's warm personality was outstanding.

We had the perfect experience with our chef Lucia at Lago di Comi!
She arrived on time and brought everything she needed. She filled our villa with a wonderful atmosphere and prepared an amazing meal, better than anything we could have found in any nearby restaurant. Afterwards she left the kitchen spotless. She was cheerful, very professional, and so discreet that we hardly noticed she was there. It was comfortable, easy, and simply wonderful. We would book this experience again anytime!

We visited Como for our wedding anniversary, but we never expected that the best part of our visit would be Lucia. A unique menu with curated twists for my wife and I is the start of the experience. A beautiful personality whose heart bleed into her cooking. With resourcefulness in bringing top quality dishes from a kitchnette. Communication and understanding like no other, she was always in touch with when and where to meet. Lucia brought the soul of Italy to our stay and our plates. I recommend this service to anyone looking to bringing the authenticity of Italy to their visit.

The phone number of the chef should be sent beforehand to avoid troubles reaching them. The chef was 50mins late and we had no way no contact her other than mail. A heads up would have been appreciated.
Other than that, the experience was great.

Maria and Mattheo were such great course guides and we had a lot of fun. The food was delicious. Thank you for making our birthday dinner so special!

Giuseppe & Chef Roberta were wonderful! My family and I were vacationing in Puglia, and after a very long day of travel, I arranged to have Chef Roberta cook a dinner for us onsite. It was exactly what we needed. She and Giuseppe took great care to ensure every detail was managed well. Chef even cooked a few off-menu items for my son. Could not recommend more! Thank you!

We had Roberta come cook for us at two different villas during our trip to Puglia, and both dinners were absolutely amazing! We were a group of nine, and she went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. Everything was beautifully prepared, delicious, and made our time in Puglia extra special.
