Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 65 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Travelers explained that the company displayed attractive rates online, but shortly after securing a reservation, agents called to claim the selected seats were unavailable and demanded substantial additional payments. Many consumers felt misled by these practices, noting that tickets were often changed to standby status or alternative flights without proper consent. Some reviewers were not happy with the customer service, describing representatives as rude and unhelpful when attempting to resolve reservation errors or request cancellations. Furthermore, consumers frequently mentioned unexpected payment issues, including unexpected billing and severe difficulties in obtaining refunds.

THIS IS A SCAM

THIS IS A SCAM! I booked over a month ago and checked my credit card and saw nothing was charged. I called because the email confirmation I received seemed vague, not actually confirming a ticket, but giving me a booking number. I talked to an Asian woman who kept putting me on hold pretending to be talking to a supervisor that she claimed she would connect me with after telling me the flight home was "stand-by because I must have booked at the same time as another passenger" and she couldn't confirm the seat, so she "checked for another seat" and the cheapest price doubled the price of my round trip original quote and agreed upon price! I told her absolutely not. She apologized and said I would not get a better price anywhere bc the going price is up to 75% more than what she quoted me. I told her I thought she was lying and looked up the same flight using a different service and found that I could book the supposedly "stand-by" flight for less than she was quoting me. She told me I could not cancel my reservations bc I had already paid but she could offer me a voucher. I told her I could see my credit card statement and it does not show I was charged. She insisted I had already been charged. Then when she tried to confirm my one-way ticket for the price I had agreed to for the round trip, she was telling me the credit card info she had and it was wrong, so I told her I am calling my credit card company and letting them know what is happening and that I dispute all charges from this company. The Asian woman hung up at some point as she was telling me that it would be another 10-12 minutes before she could confirm my one-way seat. I took the opportunity to call my credit card company and then called her back the line went right to her. She proceeded to tell me she had tried to call me back, but nothing showed on my phone that someone tried to call me. I believe this is a one-person show and when I looked at the email she sent me for the one-way ticket, it showed the base fare was a little more than half the taxes and fees, so you know she is scamming people. After confirming with my credit card company that I had a legal right to dispute the charges, I booked through a different service and got more desirable tickets for less than the original agreed upon price on the website.

Scam

Scam. Avoid at all costs. Very aggressive cancelation policy and stereotypical indian call center scammers with fake white names. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. I got lucky and locked my card before they charged me. They wanted to charge me double of the initial quote. Also all their documentation has spelling errors or typos.

My Daughter booked a trip for 4 to…

My Daughter booked a trip for 4 to Kona, Hawaii and the price was 2,800. They called her and told her that she had to pay an additional $1,300. I don't think they are even located in the United States, and we are giving them our information. Someone needs to investigate this Business.

This is a scam

This is a scam. I booked for two tickets, paid and they emailed after confirmation to say that one seat was unavailable and we’d have to pay more. They then said refunds were not available. The flight itself was not the one we booked on, but another longer flight. Do not book with this company.

Cheapdealsfare is NOT CHEAP.

Cheapdealsfare is NOT a BBB Accredited Business because it's a scam! They send you a message to contact them to confirm the trip only to jack up the price of your ticket. Best to book directly with airlines.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Cheaper Deals Fare. After paying for a flight, I later found out that the departure flight I was booked on was already full, meaning I couldn’t even take the trip I paid for. Instead of resolving the issue, they tried to move me to a flight several days earlier — and expected me to pay significantly more money for it.

When I asked to cancel and receive a refund since they could not provide the original service, they refused. The only option they offered was a voucher that expires in one year, which is not acceptable considering the situation was not my fault.

This feels extremely unfair and misleading. I paid for a confirmed flight that was never actually available, and now my money is tied up in a time-limited voucher I may not even be able to use.

I would strongly caution others to be very careful when booking through this company.

Bait & Switch scam

The flight deal I tried to book was reported as unavailable. Tried to charge me over 150% more for the flight. I had to cancel my credit card to avoid charges for something I never received. DO NOT use this company.

Horrible Business

Horrible business to deal with. They put up attractive prices, but call you saying that they cannot confirm your flight selection and then try to upcharge you. Additionally, they say they can't refund you and that you have to contact the airline, however the airlines say you have to contact the travel agency. Therefore, your caught up in a circle of lies.

Cheapdealfare is a bait and switch…

Cheapdealfare is a bait and switch scam. We needed an emergency flight home from college for my child and bookes with cheapdealfare without researching them first. 8 hours after booking they called my daughter and sent her an email saying that the flight to us had no more low fares, but the flight back was confirmed, so they could not refund our ticket. They said they could give us an ecredit through their agency or we could pay $1100 for her to move to the main cabin. Her round trip fare was supposed to be $340, so over 3x the cost. Then they offered her a different flight for $900. They would not do a refund and continued to only allow an ecredit through them. Stay away from this scam company.

Absolutely awful experience

Absolutely awful experience. This “travel agency” is nothing more than a scam dressed up with a polished website and friendly sales talk. They were great at taking my money—fast responses, lots of promises—but once payment was made, everything fell apart.

Bookings were incorrect or never confirmed, important details were suddenly “misunderstood,” and any attempt to get help was met with excuses, delays, or straight-up silence. When I asked for a refund or even a clear explanation, I was bounced between people who clearly had no intention of fixing anything.

What should have been an exciting trip turned into stress, wasted time, and lost money. Save yourself the headache and book directly with airlines and hotels. Do not trust this agency unless you enjoy being misled and ignored after they’ve already taken your cash.

A BAND OF THIEVES!!

Stay away from these thieves!
I booked a flight 2 weeks in advance to fly from Gulfport, MS to Cincinnati, OH. I got a very competitive airfare. When it was getting close to my travel date, and I had not yet received my eTickets, I called them. They informed me that my airfare was to be changed from $177 to over $500!! I told them to cancel everything. They threatened to charge me penalty fee. I shut down my credit card.
I'm telling you: this organization is a BAND OF THIEVES!!

Bait and switch operation

Bait and switch operation. Created this online through website where it was confirmed and emailed as such. No further communications, and no charge to card. Finally called them 2 days later at the number given. "There was a cancellation with the airline" was the excuse given. 40 dollars per traveler more, this is now a one way round trip. Noticed the credit card charges (see below). Agent was very snotty and rude and not at all listening. Then, it claimed the specific agent that makes the deal has to change, negotiate or otherwise cancel. This is quite outrageous, these people are very discourteous and demeaning, it can also be heard (in the ample background noise). Agent claimed the original person would call back in a few hours - nothing. Couldn't cancel, nobody called back. They only went on the airline's website, made the order, then charge the card nearly the same amount in "Airline Charges". Needless to say, i'm disputing the extraneous charge.
