Straightforward honest service, completed in good time with good communication

Their experience in understanding what forms part of the property purchase, and what is not is really useful. I had an idea on some items but not others. Further, their ability to value the items not forming part of the purchase was also useful. could not have done that and the HMRC would likely have questioned any valuations I put forward. They really took the headache out of making the claim for which I am grateful.

I have just received my refunds (7k) from a claim. Whole process took about 6-7 weeks.it was very easy and swift. Communication was very good throughout. I received a letter in the post - I almost through it away, as I had an element of doubt that it was one of these dogey companies, but it looks completely legit. I have to wait about 7 months to see if the claim goes through fully. Stamp duty refunds will support and refund if the claim amount changes in that time. I will put the funds aside until this timeframe has elapsed. If you are in doubt, you have 12 months from when you move in to claim your money back against HMRC. I would not have known about this and very likely missed out. Do not hesitate if there’s doubt. Only thing I’d say is I’m not sure if there’s any other companies that do this, I didn’t research this but I am glad with the amount I received.

Super easy, had our telephone meeting on the 2nd May and the money was in my account on the 27th June. One video house tour, provided the stamp duty documents required. Advised what figure we’d get back. Sit back and wait. We recommend Carlos and his team to all our friends who have moved recently. I've just been refunded £2,375 that I never really expected. The service from Stamp Duty Advisors was very good, from the initial letter, through several calls and emails to the final pay out. It took a while but I'm sure this was due to HMRC's processes rather than Stamp Duty Advisory service.

Great Service. This company contacted me regarding the potential for overpaid stamp duty. With some scepticism I contacted them as I had nothing to lose. A few forms and a phone call is all it took to be refunded over £3,000 after fees, money I would never have expected to get back had it not been for this company.
