Dreadful shampoo

Dreadful shampoo. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money. I bought 3 for 2 although still very pricey and the lids didn’t stay on so lost half a bottle on the shower floor where I nearly broke my neck the next time I went in. My hair doesn’t stay glossy and clean for longer than half a day and it seems more oily. I would definitely not buy again or recommend

I have purchased Shampoo and…

I have purchased Shampoo and conditioner from Charles Worthington range Meno Plex. Extremely disappointed. The product feel watery especially the conditioner. Did nothing to my hair, definitely did not condition left hair feeling tangled and coarse. Waste of money!

Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse 200 ml

If there was a zero star rating I would have chosen it.
This product is utter rubbish. The container is full of liquid, there is no mousse in it at all.
I will not buy this product again due to: a) The item not being fit for purpose b) Lack of acknowledgement let alone no response to my query.
I completed their on-line form about two weeks ago.

Yet another brand that steals his…

Yet another brand that steals his customers ! Bought their products. Hair mask has fake bottom. The recipient is large but the contents is actually about 75% inside. The rest is just fake botom. Why would you do this?!?🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

Expensive mistake

I was planning my visit to this salon for ages, saving up and I was very excited to go after reading a lot about their expertise. It was an extremely important occasion for me as it was my pre-wedding hair appointment. I booked a senior stylist, asked for a full head balayage, cut and finish. The experience and the atmosphere in the salon is very nice, drinks snd snacks are readily available. Had a discussion about the colours and showed photos what I thought would be nice and we settled on the colours. The process was long but it was expected...however, by the end, we kind of 'run out of time' and even though I paid and asked for a curly finish, I only got a quick blow dry with a few waves. The finish was flat and the waves were gone by the time I reached the tube station. I have fine hair and wanted some body and volume for a finish. Cut and finish £95, final bill £313. But this was not the worst thing about the whole experience; the following morning in the mirror I noticed long grey hairs on my temple, not covered by colour at all..things got even better, when I tried to reach the salon to talk to someone, sent photos of my hair, but got nowhere. After several emails and phone calls, I had neither any response, nor any acknowledgement. As the pre-recorded message says on the answermachine, everybody leaves this salon satisfied...it was a very expensive and disappointing experience for me. Had huge expectations and was let down.

Great service, shocking bill

I am new to the area and wanted a decent local hairdresser and have had good experiences with Charles Worthington in the past. I purposely chose the Manageress Karen, knowing that she would be expensive but I checked the prices on-line before making the appointment.
She was fantastic and I am extremely happy with the experience (the salon in Percy Street is lovely) but I came away with a £400 bill. Having asked for a detailed breakdown it all appears legitimate but I just feel like I have been ripped off. Apparently, it was because I booked for the services on line so that was what I was charged for - obviously I received the various services but I would like to have been told in advance that the root cover up would be an extra £100 on top of the £165 1/2 head highlights or that the colour gloss would be a further £70.
The moral of the story (which after many years of using hairdressers, I've never had to do before) is ask for the whole price before letting them start. I feel that this is such a shame but at those prices I cannot return unfortunately, even though I LOVE my hair.
