A perfect exchange for my needs. I am not really a crypto trader, I dabble in crypto currencies. For me, it is an almost perfect exchange. They got all the assets I need, there were no hiccups, always fast, the support is on point. One time I even received slightly more that I was supposed to. Probably caused by a slippage, but I can't complain

Pretty poor experience. Via an aggregator they sent less then expected with changing rate very last second when I already was sending money, even though it was usdt to usdt swap.

ChangeHero is a straight-up scam operation disguised as a “non-custodial” swap service. Smaller test amounts went through instantly with no issues, but the moment I sent a larger chunk for a real swap, they froze everything and started an endless KYC nightmare.
I cooperated fully at first: provided passport/ID, selfie verification, proof of address, detailed explanation of crypto origin, intended use, employment documents, tax filings and more. Despite this, they kept demanding irrelevant nonsense. Requests never ended; every submission led to new ones or “under review” silence.
When I finally had enough and formally refused further KYC (per their own Terms of Use paragraph 3.7: refund to original address minus network fees + 10% “operational fee” on refusal), they ignored it completely. Repeated messages: “refund cannot be processed at this stage” or no reply at all. My funds remain locked as of December 19, 2025, causing real financial pain and blocking a legitimate purchase.
This “small OK, large frozen” bait-and-switch is blatant: lure users with smooth tiny swaps, then trap bigger amounts to force endless docs or extract the predatory 10% ransom on refund. Reviews are full of identical stories—funds held hostage, policy ignored when inconvenient, support ghosting escalations.
ChangeHero (via UAB Finch Technologies, supposedly supervised by FCIS Lithuania) hides behind “AML compliance” while running what feels like a funds-seizure racket. Avoid at all costs! Especially for anything over pocket change.

During the recent market downturn, I decided to convert my SOL to USDC before things got critical. While other platforms were experiencing issues and downtime, Changehero executed the transaction flawlessly, and I've been a loyal user ever since. Great job, dev team!

This is good swap site I highly appreciate, I performed a test swap with a small amount to just see how it works and everything was smooth, and that made me feel safe to use bigger amount later. I highly like how the fees are low.

I used ChangeHero’s swap service through my wallet and did not receive the full amount of tokens I was quoted. After the order was executed, the tokens arrived in my wallet more than an hour later — and 2,452,331 tokens were missing, worth $12,261 at the time of the swap.

I provided all transaction hashes, screenshots, and the order details, but so far ChangeHero has not corrected the discrepancy or refunded the missing amount. This is a serious issue and raises concerns about the reliability and transparency of their service.

I am requesting an immediate investigation, a clear explanation of why such a large amount went missing, and a refund of the full missing value. Iwilk take legal action if this is not resolved by Changehero. I'm willing to remove this feedback if my ussue is resolved and I will stop from taking further action.

I used ChangeHero to swap 2,982 XRP to KAS (Kaspa).
At the time, the site quoted around 418,829 KAS — but when the swap completed, I only received 91,482 KAS, a shortfall of 327,000 KAS (≈ 78%).

ChangeHero later said the exchange was “floating rate” and blamed extreme market volatility.
However, their claimed rate (0.05658 KAS/USDT) does not exist on any public exchange chart (Binance, KuCoin, MEXC, or CoinMarketCap) for that date.
KAS never traded anywhere near that value.

After multiple emails, they offered only two “solutions”:

$500 worth of KAS as a goodwill payment (≈ 7,000 KAS)

Refund of my original XRP only if I return the KAS they sent.

I’ve provided screenshots, timestamps, and verified market data that contradict their rate — yet they’ve refused to escalate the case further.

⚠️ My warning: this was not normal slippage. If their floating rate system can produce prices that differ this much from the real market, users should be very cautious.
I hope ChangeHero reopens the case and provides a fair resolution.

I exchanged 60k with them, they are currently not responsive and wont allow me to even issue a refund.

More than 6 hours of no response and no updates.. holding my money hostage and claiming that i can refund it for 10 percent for canceling the transaction..

This is a huge scam company trying to make quick cash as they hold your money hostage.. will update you guys here

Contacted authorities in Costa Rica where they located which is shady as fk save yourself STAY AWAY

Nothing bad to say about this exchanger. I use it frequently coz it’s easy and they offer low commission rates. And that’s all I need actually.

⚠️ I made a swap through Ledger’s internal exchange with ChangeHero.
Amount: 0.36 BTC (~43,484 USDT).

After the swap, they put me under a “KYC check”. I provided all possible documents, including proof of official income, but support keeps asking new questions and never returns the funds.

‼️ My cryptocurrency was already checked under AML before the transfer, I passed their KYC, and I also submitted my official income documents. Still, the money has not been returned.

Do not open deals with them! This looks like a SCAM project.

🚨 I will be forced to file a report with local cyber police, the FBI, and additional authorities. My team will also inform journalists, and soon similar texts with all proofs will appear on forums and official sources.

I want to share my experience so that nobody else falls into the same trap.
I made a swap through ChangeHero more than 3 weeks ago. Since then, I have been asked the same questions again and again, while providing them with every possible document:
• Proof of income,
• Car sales contracts,
• My selfie with passport,
• And many other official papers.

Despite all this, they continue to open new dialogues and repeat the same requests as if they never even looked at the documents I submitted.

⚠️ At this moment, my case is unresolved, and my funds have not been returned. Based on my experience, I must consider this exchange to be a SCAM until proven otherwise.

‼️ Be extremely careful — I strongly advise against using this service.
They keep talking about “international AML/KYC compliance norms,” but at the same time they provide their services on a Russian platform like BestChange.
This already raises serious doubts about their credibility.

I know very well what international AML/KYC checks are — I’ve gone through them many times on global exchanges.
But no exchange has ever demanded such endless documents and repeated questions like this one.

Right now, after weeks of the same cycle with no resolution, I consider this exchange a SCAM.

Hello, let's talk about ChangeHero and how they hide behind fake reviews.

I'm currently working on a video exposing their scam. Yes, I’m calling them scammers, and here’s why:

I recently did a BTC to USDT swap worth over $70,000. I sent them the BTC, and since then, it's been over two weeks without a proper response. Yes, you heard that right: two weeks.

I provided all the required proof. After complete silence, they eventually replied with a generic message:

“Thank you for the information provided. It has been forwarded to our Compliance team for review. Please be patient.”

That was more than a week ago, and still nothing. I followed up again — no answer. Five more days passed — still silence.

However, when I contacted them from a different email address, they replied immediately. This clearly shows they’re deliberately ignoring my original request due to the large amount involved.

Let’s be honest: they’re scammers.
For small transactions, they’ll process everything to keep up appearances. But when it comes to large amounts like mine, they’ll take your money and disappear.

As of now, I have not been refunded, and they are still ignoring me.
I’ve hired a lawyer and started legal action against them. I’ll keep you updated as soon as I hear anything from their side.

I’m also making a detailed video exposing how ChangeHero operates their scam. If you're thinking about using them — think twice, especially for high-value transactions.

Oh, and one more thing: they will ask you to verify your identity — but they do it via email, with no secure process whatsoever.
They asked me to send:

my bank account statements

my ID documents

my phone bill

and other sensitive financial data

This is beyond reckless.

Never use ChangeHero. Never share your personal data with them. It’s a scam.

🚨 Warning: Avoid ChangeHero

Tried using their service — sent the funds, then suddenly got hit with KYC.
Fine. Did the KYC. Took them 24 hours to reply, only to demand even more stuff — including a phone number ownership statement (never seen that before).

Asked for a refund — they said they’d only return 90%, keeping 10% without providing any service.

So I gave them everything: phone proof, photo ID, source of funds, full bank statement.
Waited 48 hours. They finally respond with a generic “please wait for the update.”
It’s now been 3 more days. Still nothing. No update. No refund. No service.

Feels like a deliberate tactic — hassle you with over-the-top KYC, stall responses, then push you into a refund so they can pocket a cut.

Wouldn’t recommend this platform to anyone — unless you want your funds frozen even after doing KYC and submitting a phone statement. Total waste of time and money.

I need to get the word out about my horrific experience with ChangeHero.

This company has outright frozen my money and is holding it hostage without any just cause! I initiated a swap through Exodus, and since then, I have been under constant scrutiny. I have presented every possible document, including identification screenshots and other evidence, yet they keep asking the same questions and refuse to release the money I worked so hard for. This is not just a small amount; it’s $21,000 that I have saved over a long period. Their blatant disregard for my rights and well-being is infuriating.

What they have done has not only caused me immense financial distress but has also taken a toll on my family and our lives. To make matters worse, they are extorting me! I am currently in the process of working with a private attorney to fight back against this injustice. I refuse to let them get away with this, and I will not stay silent until justice is served!

I want everyone to know that ChangeHero is not a trustworthy company. I will not hesitate to share my experience widely and warn others about their deceitful practices. No one should have to go through what I have endured. Please be cautious and consider this before engaging with them!

I hope to edit this review when they finally do justice and return my money.
