The luggage is beautiful HOWEVER... on three occasions, a wheel fell off in the airport.
I have tried to work with their customer service, but they don't respond unless you verbally threaten them.
After doing so, I got shipped screws to put the wheels back on myself, and that was after the bag was unusable for months. Then... next trip out, a wheel fell off while in Jamaica on my anniversary trip.
Here is a log of the dates of messages I sent regarding the issue, and also inquiring about the warranty. What is clear is that the warranty is for vanity and isn't real.

Original purchase 9/2024
Note: Wheels fell off within a year, but I was traveling so much didn't have time to deal with it.
- 1st email regarding the wheels falling off. No response.
- 2nd email to warranty 3/13/2026. No response
- 3rd email 3/29/2026 with threatening language
- 3/30/26 acknowledgement of email without offering a solution
- 3/31/26 response, but with no solution for the wheels, but they ask for a video
- 4/6/26 a reply saying they haven't yet shipped the screws (this was in response to another threatening email)
-4/9/26 I sent an email telling them that every day without my suitcase not working is frustrating and that I had to go buy a stand-in as I'm traveling
- 4/9/26 receive FedEx tracking
- 4/19/26 wheel fell off again while in Jamaica

6/2 Update: Right after writing this review, I sent one more email, and they replied and sent me a replacement suitcase. They did say that they have changed the design and now the wheels are bolted in so... I am hopeful. That said... all of the above could have been avoided and handled differently.

Beware of Champs Luggage

My husband and I travel a lot and we were looking for some new luggage. I found Champs luggage and thought it looked beautiful. It also looked very dirty and their comments were that it was durable so I ordered one set of a large and a carry-on. When I received it, it looked great, so I went forward and ordered another set of a large and a carry-on +2 more larges. We packed them and love the fact that they were light. We flew from Austin Texas to Miami Florida. When we received our luggage at the airport, it was so damaged that it wasn’t even funny. There are scratches and dents and it looked like it was five year-old luggage rather than luggage that just took it first trip. I have tried to communicate with camp luggage in order to warranty these items. I’ve emailed them and given them all the information that they asked for, including photos. No help. So I tried calling. They have two numbers and I have called both numbers. Before I’m connected with anyone I am disconnected. So I highly warn you. Don’t buy this luggage. Not unless you plan to have the same issues that I’ve had.
