Following my experience and my feedback to them

Following my experience and my feedback, it seems like Ceylon Spice will be improving Delivery service and Clarity of packaging so to meet both health concerns and border security. Their follow through with me and honesty tells me they are a good company and I will consider re-ordering from them. Good luck in your endeavours.

Ordered the Ceylon alba grade cinnamon

Ordered the Ceylon alba grade cinnamon. It came in a clear plastic bag with a handwritten sticker. Seller responded immediately and said my order was a bulk quantity and since it is alba premium grade it is handled special and would not properly fit into the small pouch you normally see. My concerns were unfounded and the quick response explained everything clearly.

To clarify our packaging:

• We use food-grade transparent vacuum-sealed packaging for all sizes, from 50g to bulk orders.
• It is not just a simple cover; each order is vacuum sealed before dispatch to help protect the cinnamon’s aroma, freshness, and quality during international shipping.
• Kraft pouches may look more suitable for retail display, but they are not always suitable for proper vacuum sealing.
• Transparent packaging keeps the product visible and clearly identifiable during Sri Lanka Post acceptance and inspection.
• Extra decorative packaging can add unnecessary weight and sometimes move parcels into a higher postal weight bracket, so we keep packaging practical while maintaining fair value for customers.
• Our labels are simple and handwritten because every order is handled by hand in small batches.

We also try to follow responsible business practices aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals by reducing unnecessary decorative packaging and supporting direct sourcing from Sri Lanka.

We are working to improve our presentation while keeping our focus on authenticity, freshness, responsible packaging, and fair value.

I haven't received the parcel. I've ordered almost 2 months ago. I haven't received even tracking number.

I've texted multiple email to support and haven't received a reply.

Asked for refund - nothing.

Good quality

Bought blue lotus and Ceylon cinnamon from Ceylon Spice Garden. The parcel reached me in just 14 days from Sri Lanka.
Both items were vacuum packed really well and arrived fresh. The cinnamon has a strong nice smell, the blue lotus looks good, and the prices were cheaper than most etsy shops.
Overall good quality. Will order again.

I am writing in response to your survey…

I am writing in response to your survey asking me to rate the quality of the Ceylon cinnamon and the overall service.
I purchased the Ceylon cinnamon from you approximately 3 months ago. To this day, I have still not received the product. Before asking me to rate the quality of an item I have never received, please first check your records and verify whether the order was ever actually delivered to me.
As for the service: it does not deserve even one star. It has been extremely poor — three months with no delivery and no proper communication.
Regarding the quality of the Ceylon cinnamon: I have no idea, because I still do not have the product in my hands.
Please resolve the delivery issue before sending any further surveys. Thank you.

You are right that a review request should not have been sent before your order was confirmed as delivered, and we sincerely apologize for that. This was triggered automatically by our review system, and we are reviewing this process to prevent delayed orders from receiving review requests too early.

Our postal records, including the CN22/postal receipt, confirm that your parcel was processed through the postal service. The order was placed with the economy shipping option selected at checkout, which was available at that time and did not include full end-to-end tracking. Unfortunately, when economy parcels are delayed, they can be very difficult to trace.

Based on customer feedback and similar delivery issues with economy shipping, we have now discontinued that option. Since Sri Lanka Post recently introduced TDS/tracked delivery options, we have moved to these services where available to provide customers with a more reliable delivery experience.

We do not want any customer to feel ignored or misled. If the parcel has still not reached you, we are ready to resolve this with a refund or reshipment.

We sincerely apologize again for the delay, communication issues, and poor experience.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with this seller.

I paid an extra 30€ for express shipping (3–5 days), but my package was sent using standard registered mail instead. The tracking clearly shows a delivery estimate of 3–7 weeks, which is completely unacceptable and not what I paid for.

This feels misleading and dishonest — charging customers for express service but using a much cheaper, slower option.

Customer trust is important, and this kind of behavior seriously damages it. I have requested a refund for the shipping fee and am still waiting for a proper explanation.

I would not recommend this seller unless they fix their shipping practices.

Was skeptical of it being Nymphaea…

Was skeptical of it being Nymphaea caerulea, since lot of sites claim this but sell nouchalli. But the package i received seemed very much caerulea and after boiling it the petals had the same look as nymphaea caerulea petals, white at base and light blue forward. I find it's authentic, I'm happy with the purchase. I think the brand should add a lab report to help peoples judgement.
