We had solar panels and a battery installed. From the initial contact to the finished installation, Ben and the team have been amazing. We have had support and information every step of the way to help us understand what would be best for us, how the solar panels work, what the installation involves, and what the costs and savings would be. The installers, Lee and Charlie, were very friendly and did a great job (including cleaning up!). Have already recommended Certified Renewables to my parents!

I used Certified Renewable Solutions to install Sigenergy batteries and a Daikin ASHP. Both installations went very smoothly and the service provided was superb. I most appreciated the service for the ASHP, because I approached 3 other companies beforehand: one said I had no space to put the ASHP, the second said they could not provide an ASHP large enough for my property, the third said they could provide the ASHP but only near my front door, which I did not want. Ben was the only person who actually listened to what I was trying to achieve (with the ASHP in the back garden) and took the time to work out a solution for what was a somewhat more complicated installation. It was such a relief dealing with someone who tried to meet my needs rather than find a solution which made life easier for the installer. The installation itself was carried out very professionally, the workmanship was exceptional, and the garden and the house were left clean and tidy after completion. Ben and Sam have provided useful advice/aftercare and resolved a number of questions about the operation of both the battery and ASHP (and their apps) since completion. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

We have had solar panels and a battery installed by certified renewable in november 2025. We were told that they will work "a little" during the winter but really show their worth in the summer. I must say I'm very impressed as over the christmas period our electric bills have dropped dramatically so I am very excited to see how well they do in the summer.
The service we got from the whole team was exceptional, including some after care questions I had for Ben. I reached out to Ben outside of normal work hours, and he replied immediately. This company really cares for its customers and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need.

We have been considering an air source heat pump for our home and spoke to Certified Renewable Solutions, after an initial positive discussion Ben visited my home to offer advice, suggestions and options. The whole experience was excellent, friendly, professional and above all knowledgeable with the focus on not only the installation of the system but also the tuning over time and on-going support, something I feel is essential with what for many of us are new technologies.

In the end we did not proceed with an installation, the reasons for this were entirely personal but as and when we decide to proceed, I will definitely contact Ben and the team at Certified Renewables. In this is another important point at no point was there any sales pressure at all, just an informed, respectful and professional discussion.

I would not normally post a review if I hadn’t proceeded with a purchase but I know many people will find themselves looking at renewable technologies uncertain of the costs and benefits. I feel it is worth saying that in my experience Certified Renewables are a very easy company to deal with, if you are considering the installation of renewables then I would have no hesitation in recommending them for an honest, knowledgeable, no pressure discussion and quote.

Certified Renewables installed our heat pump during a house renovation and I was very happy with the service. Ben provided clear advice, was patient throughout, and coordinated well with our builder. The installers, Darius and Michael, were thorough, professional, and did a great job. Pricing was competitive, and the after-sales support has been excellent – Ben is quick to respond and has fine-tuned the system for efficiency. The house is comfortable and bills remain reasonable. Had I known them earlier, I would have gone through Certified Renewables for all of my renewable kit. I’d recommend them to anyone considering a heat pump or other renewable system.

Where to start, Ben and Sam provided me with a PV and battery system when working with their previous company and arranged for me to be put on the best tariffs at the time. The system has performed above and beyond my expectations and I'm really happy with it. I have since had them, as certified renewables, increase my battery storage. There is one minor ( and I mean minor) niggle with the system, which was a shortfall from the previous company, which they are in the process of attending to. Both Ben and Sam are easy people to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to other people. For reference my system was installed in October 2024.

A quick update on 9th Dec 2025. The installation issues, which were all down to wiring errors from the original installation have now been remedied and the system works as hoped. The changeover from grid supply to battery supply is extremely quick. We tested the changeover 4 times, 2 from grid to battery, and 2 from battery to grid and only 1 clock in the house noticed any of the changeovers, which suggests that the changeover is taking less than 1 cycle of the grid. My thanks to Sam,Ben, Lee and the crew for sticking with it, even though it wasn't their mess to sort out.

Ben is the real deal. He genuinely cares about customers and will personally oversee all issues and details and continue to offer help as long as you need it. I wish him and Sam every good fortune in this important project.

First contact with Sam Vakani when considering solar panels. He arranged and completed all paperwork and installation team etc. On the day of installation the team was on time and very professional. They know what is to be done. I don't remember their name. But honestly if anyone considering to have solar should think of this company and I am sure will remember my few line. I chose Certified Renewable Solutions because it is a local firm and Ben was extremely helpful and knowledgable when he came to discuss adding batteries to our existing solar panels. Lee, the chief engineer, was efficient when installing the batteries and corrected a wiring error from the original solar panel installation (by a different firm). Sam, Ben and Lee were all friendly and helpful.

So so pleased with our ASHP! We were sceptical that it could work with our older house, and heat our water to a high enough temperature for radiators and showers but Ben assured us it would and he was absolutely right!
