Once completing the test, you will have to pay a fee of £0.50 to receive the results. The next day I received a notification from my bank saying that a transaction of £39.90 was trying to be taken from my account, so they blocked my card. This cowboy company will start a subscription without your knowledge or consent.

Took money and doesn’t respond
I signed up to do my IQ test for £0.50 which seems pretty good and the test was fun, however after attempting to log in a few times I finally got into my account..I found that I was going to be charged £39.90 for a subscription I was unaware of as they do not make it very clear. I have tried to cancel it on their website but it says they do not recognise my email address to have a subscription..but £39.90 has been taken out of my bank account, I have sent multiple emails with no response for the past 3-4 days, and the phone number provided won’t answer calls, I have made a claim with my bank hoping they can resolve this as I would like my money back and not be charged again.

SCAM - AVOID
You sign up for a 50p charge for a silly Iq test, next thing you know £39.90 has been withdrawn from your bank without your knowledge. AVOID this website unless you want scammed. I have contacted bank and emailed company twice, no refund as of yet.
Update: yet to have a refund. Was told someone would contact me in 24 hours - they didn’t. Rang again to be told it’s processing and ‘will be in my bank within 7 days’ I don’t have much hope. Please avoid this company!

Beware of the hidden fees
Beware of the hidden fees. I approved for the fee of £0.50 for the online IQ test but after 2 days I was charged £39.90 for a subscription which I never approved. I have contacted my bank and emailed Certified Iq for the refund. Hopefully I'll get it back soon.
UPDATE -
I requested a refund via both email and call and they refused to refund me. I got screamed at on the call, the customer service is extremely poor and rude. But on their contract it states that if you request a refund prior 14 days expiration, you're eligible for the refund. I've emailed them back with the screenshots of their own contract, hopefully will get the refund soon.

Spent time doing the test (which you are never made aware that it actually costs in the end) spent 0.50p to get my test results after spending all that time, nothing to most people.
Woke up this morning with £40 taken out of my bank account, absolutely misleading, nowhere was it clear that you are actually signing up to a subscription. I have no account on the website, I’ve received no email communication letting me know this is what I signed up for, at the point of putting my bank details in it mentioned nothing about this other than 50p, this is the basis of this website, scummy illegal behaviour. Do not help yourself to my money. You know damn well what you’re doing is misleading judging by all of the terrible reviews, this is a purposeful act done by yourself to trick people into taking their money, hoping they won’t notice.
Allegedly a free trail for 48 hours, why on earth would I pay £40 a month for an IQ results test?! No confirmation you’ve even signed up to a subscription so how are you supposed to cancel!! Misleading scam.

Beware of hidden subscription
The IQ test is good, but be aware about the hidden charge.
Myself and my partner both done the test, and we were informed that we had to pay 50p for the result, so £1 in total. We had no issues paying this as we believed the website was legit. Two days later we were both charged £39.90 by Certified IQ as some sort of subscription. We have both contacted our banks and Certified Iq to inform them that we didn’t sign up to pay £39.90.
I hope this matter will be resolved and we will both recieve a refund, as it isn’t clear that you will be paying for a subscription.

Charge you 50p to find out your results which is annoying but i paid it, after looking at reviews, i discovered they start charging you £40 a month for no reason and with no warning luckily i cancelled. They will probably reply to this with a silly automated response and not actually address the issue. Fake 5 star reviews too. DO NOT USE

Scam! Took extra money out my account 2 days later
DO NOT PAY FOR A CERTIFICATE WITH THIS COMPANY! It is a scam! After paying 50p for my certificate they started to take money from my account (£40) claiming I'd made a subscription which I had not. I have made a fraud complaint with my bank and they are reviewing this. Do not risk it. Not worth the hassle!
The company has replied that they are always at your disposal however I did send an email prior to my review but did not receive a response

They had a cute advert about an IQ test with £0.5, and 3 days later I had the surprise to find that they had me subscribed to their Web page and charged me with £39.99 without my consent, abusive scam. I have never signed up for this and I don't recommend.

Beware, the moment you buy the 50p results you’re automatically subscribed into a costly contract without this being made clear anywhere.
Then to from bad to much worse as my card was hit by a major fraud attack a few weeks later, this site being pointed out as the only possible candidate.

Hidden charge of £39.90
UPDATE: This is an update about a previous review I’ve posted on Certified IQ regarding a subscription fee charge that I was not aware of.
Roughly 2 weeks ago I went online and took an IQ quiz off Certified IQs website. After completing the quiz, I was taken to a page that notified me that I can get my result by paying £0.50 for the certificate. I had no issues paying such a small figure and believed the website was legit, so entered my card details to see the results. 2 days later I was notified by my bank that I paid £39.90 to Certified IQ as my first instalment of a subscription. I was shocked to say the least and contacted my bank to inform them that I didn’t sign up with certified IQ to pay £39.90, but was advised I should reach out to Certified IQ for a refund.
To make a long story short, I reached out to Certified IQ using their contact email on their website and after a few days was advised the money will be refunded.
I’m happy to say I’ve received a full refund and believe this confirms that Certified IQ is in fact a legitimate company.
I do recommend anyone using the website to read through the terms and conditions before paying for any certificates or before subscribing, as unfortunately, they do not make it clear from the start that the results of your IQ quiz isn’t free, nor is it very clear that you will be charged for a subscription when you do “sign up” to retrieve your results.
Apart from this inconvenience, I can say the quiz was challenging and did feel like a legitimate IQ checking test, and you do get an online certificate of your results. As such, I’ve amended my previous review to reflect my overall experience with the site.
I hope the company improves how it shares these important information regarding any fees that a user can be charged going forward.
