Terrible experience. First, they quoted $79. Then they came to the house and said we needed a different kind of cleaning which would be 240 and an extra $100 for the chairs. The sofa and chairs looked worse after “cleaning,” with huge black … More

Same story as everyone else on here. I found them on Google, gave them a call for a quote and they told me $69 for two rooms, because they were having a special, for basic cleaning.

On the day of cleaning, the guy shows up, and tells me it will be $550. I told him no way. He said because I have pets, they have to use special detergents. I told him I did not want the special detergents, just a basic cleaning like I scheduled them for. So then they said okay, basic cleaning will be $250. That's more than 3x what they told me on the phone! So much for their "special "

I usually use Chem breeze for cleaning. I should've stuck with them. I only chose certified greet team because of the price they gave me when I called. Chem breeze where open and up front about their pricing (and also cheaper). Don't go with certified green team unless you like being bamboozled. I should've read the reviews beforehand. Don't even bother asking about military discount. They'll screw us active duty folks too. I ended up reporting them to the BBB.

Professional Dryer Vent Cleaning

The website promoted a Professional Dryer Vent Cleaning - $69. Upon arrival, the price changed to more than $300 because it was supposed to be a "DEEP cleaning". Another company came the next day and charged $79. Don't hire them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. LIARS AND THIEVES

1/21/2026 I was charged $550 for a fireplace cleaning, yet the chimney was never inspected. I contacted this company because smoke was coming into my home after lighting a fire, which is a serious safety concern. I was told the technician would arrive between 12–2 PM, but they didn’t show up until 6:30 PM. After the visit, I was assured it was safe to use my fireplace. As soon as I lit another fire, my house filled with smoke again. I tried calling repeatedly and was given the runaround. No one ever called me back, and despite requesting them, I never received an inspection report or even a receipt. I had another company come out the next day. They went on the roof, immediately identified the issue, and properly cleaned the chimney and fireplace. They stated there is no way a proper cleaning had been done by this company. Extremely unprofessional, unsafe, and dishonest. I would not recommend them to anyone.

NEVER EVER EVER USE

I wish I had done my research before calling these guys. DO NOT USE OR CALL.
I had a technician named Ronnie come over to my house for vent cleaning for $149. He went on to say that each duct would be $50 each to clean on top of that, I have 30 of them !! There was so many red flags throughout the process and I should have asked the guy to leave on many occasions. I caught him out on multiple lies when he said he cleaned a duct but it had clearly not been touched, which I had to ask him to redo. His hands were so filthy and covered in black sute I had to ask him to go to my sink and clean his hands, he had print marks in almost every room! He never used a vacuum to clean the ducts so he broke up all the dust inside the vents, when he left I turned on the system and to my horror, all of the broken up dust and debris came shooting out of each vent. And to top it all off, he left garbage in my driveway!!!

A steam clean was booked for $149 for…

A steam clean was booked for $149 for my sectional. It was a brand new sofa that was stored in storage and just wanted it to be cleaned. There were no stains or soil spots.

My appointment was for 12/23, and when the technician came he immediately said he couldn’t steam my couch he can only shampoo it for $331. He advised he was giving me a discount off the service but still couldn’t Steam it. After writing up the contract and coming back inside, He had another gentleman with him and was telling him how to clean the couch. It seemed as if this person never did it before. They were here for a total of 20 minutes. Shampoo was sprayed and sucked up and that’s it, no steam was used. Water was left all over the floor.

When left I contacted another company to ask about my type of couch being steamed and I was told it could be. I also confirmed this information online based off the type of material listed for the couch. I called certified green team and also ask them if this type of couch can be steamed and I was advised yes. I explained to them the discussion I had with the technician and demanded for someone to come back and do what I paid for which included a steaming. For 6 days straight I called and spoke to “apple” and someone else who kept advising that they will send a message to the technician manager, but I never received a call back. On day seven I spoke to Hannah, who looked into the situation and she Advise me that I was told to do an upgrade and shampoo the couch based off the condition of it. I advised it was brand new and that it wasn’t in any condition. I also told her I feel like it was a scam just to pay extra money for a service. The couch really didn’t need.. she then was able to book another appointment as a redo service for 01/04.

I received a message on 01/03, to confirm confirming my appointment. My technician was arriving between 8 and 10 AM. Once it was 9 AM I called certified Green team to get an estimated time of arrival that the technician will be at my house. I was advised by “Apple” that she will reach out to the technician and he will give me a call for an update. 30 minutes went by, and I have not received a call, and when I called to follow up, I was advised that the appointment was canceled by the technician who stated “ he did all he can do and is not coming back”

I told “Apple” but this is unacceptable and I wasn’t going to keep callingin situation rectified and I wanted to speak to a manager at that moment, she put me on hold and hung up the phone.

I’ve called numerous times after that with my number being blocked.

Total scam

Total scam. They advertise $69. dryer vent cleaning, when they show up, they say it needs a deep cleaning for $99. and then present a bill for $399. for a quick and poor cleaning. The technician settled for $100. in cash.

Certified Green Team used westbury NY…stay away

Certified Green Team used westbury NY on their web. They seem to be using the name of other same name companies elsewhere. They are a scan. Horrible. I will be going to consumer affairs. The one in westbury is NOT BBB accredited. I spoke to 3 people claiming they were in office in westbury. I was quoted $89 to clean my sofa. (By all 3 employees) in 2 hrs the man came go my home I thought to work. He smelled of pot . He took pillows off couch threw them on floor said cleaning would cost me $400 + tip. The $89 quoted is bogus . He made a fictitious call to a boss. He said they'll do it for $200 . I repeated this is a scam. You give a false quote just to get in my home then quoted a 4x amount. I was told they use steam cleaning
Worker said no they use soap I said office said only steam because soap leaves a residue. The phone number on his clipboard did not jive with websites phone. I told him to leave. I felt uneasy perhaps just to see my home for future wrongdoings (my personal phone number ...robberies etc )
He left I told him to leave the fraudulent company before he gets arrested for fraud. He said yes he's thinking of it .

The call made for services told me their "may" be extra charge of $25 for spot cleaning if necessary. That's it

Lies deceitful and consumers should be aware. BBB reviews are not good. They have one 5 star review on website . There is NO street address just westbury NY

STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY

STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY. These guys are THE WORST. I took a day off from work to have carpets cleaned. They kept me waiting for 4 hours outside the window they gave me to show up. I kept calling and asking for a manager. They kept telling me he would call me back and never did (still has not). Then, on one of my calls they told me the technician (who had hung up on me earlier in the day) cancelled my job and was not coming at all. NO ONE informed me. There is a reason they have all these AWFUL reviews.......bc they are AWFUL. The few good are probably from friends or family. DO NOT FALL FOR IT

Certified Green Team appears to be a…

Certified Green Team appears to be a scam organization. The number from which they called to confirm is in Maryland, and the service area was Everett, WA. Amir came out to clean the dryer vent and quoted 3 levels of service. Since we never had it cleaned, I asked them to do their "extreme" cleaning. It only took him 10 minutes, and he wanted to charge me $349. I dickered with him and ended up paying $300 Cash. I called back to the 410 number to report this, and they asked me to hang on the line and they would call the Service Manager. They then dropped off the line. BUYER BEWARE!! Don't Use Certified Green Team!
