Guys please read my comments carefully.
Guys please read my comments carefully.
1. See many comments that it is cheap and easy to setup contract. All of you are right... fun starts when you call them.
2. They take your long card number not sort code/acc number. This is because you can't cancel the direct debit.
3. When you call them it takes ages to get them, and funny enough after long wait you will speak to same person. Why??? this is a small company pretend to be big.
4. They are interested in your money they don't exist for any service.
This company can't be trusted......Even after my review you still signed-up... God bless you....
This is not the end of the story... got more interesting update.... On my above review after couple of hours I get mail below....

WARNING, Certi UK and HEC Facilities. Same Company?
WARNING:
CERTI UK was Dissolved in July 2019, by its Managing Director, whilst this was happening a new company calling itself HEC Facilities LTD was started by a new Managing Director. Incidentally both Managing Directors share the same Surname and home address and appear to be offering similar services.
Certi uk was never registered with the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) which is a requirement under UK Law for the services they are reporting to supply, this can be checked out on the FCA Website for yourself. After taking 9 months worth of payments from us we required their services when our boiler broke down, we were advised by their representative on the phone that an engineer would be with us the following day, guess what? No engineer, after numerous phone calls we were promised a call back from an engineer to confirm an appointment, and again we received no call back. We made several more calls to Certi UK and it became apparent that they were not going to deliver on their promises. Eventually we had to appoint our own engineer at our own cost. We have since successfully taken Certi Uk to court who issued a CCJ (County Court Judgement) in our favour for all monies which are owed to us by Certi UK. Unfortunately we are still waiting for them to repay all our money in full. We are currently seeking further legal advice in regard to escalating the CCJ to a High Court Writ.
Quick and easy
Recommended by a friend when current (useless) provider wanted to add a casual £130 onto £200 annual premium (despite no call outs). Phoned to ask a couple of questions and quickly spoke to a nice, helpful lady. Super quick and easy to sign up.

Very good value and a choice of excess payments. Just over half of what British Gas were charging. Very easy to sign up.

The process of purchasing the policy was very easy.
Worst customer experience I’ve encountered in my 40 years on Earth.
Today is Friday 24th January 2020. I originally contacted Certi in regard to my faulty boiler on Tuesday 14th January 2020. I advised in my initial call that my boiler was leaking, was constantly losing pressure and was cutting out regularly with various fault codes. I was assured that this would be sent to the engineers to contact me...
Fast forward a week to Tuesday 21st January 2020 and still no contact, However £50 has be taken from my account by Certi. I assume this is the excess for claiming against my policy but must say it feels a bit cheeky to be relieved of the money when no attempt has been made to contact me/ visit me. I decide to call to see what was happening. I was again assured by the customer service representative that they would chase again for me...
I wake up this morning cold, hot water not working again, I am a tad annoyed at this point. 10 days since my initial phone call, still no contact. What could possibly be the issue? I call back around 11 am...
10 minutes of hold music later... I explain my situation again to the representative. This time I deliver an ultimatum. “Please could you ensure that I’m contacted by 2.30 this afternoon (Friday 24th January 2020). By 1, an engineer scheduling an appointment. Or 2, a member of the management team to explain what was taking so long.
2.30 arrives... virtual tumbleweeds...
It’s now 5.47 pm on Friday 24th January 2020. I have still not been contacted by anyone at Certi.
It’s been 10 and a half days since initial contact. (I’m pretty sure Apollo 11 took less time to land on the moon and return to Earth).
Admittedly, I am doing dry January so I am probably lacking a little of my usual calmness but I am now well and truly hacked off. I’m also £50 lighter in my bank account, which feels at this point like I’ve been virtually mugged.
In relation to the title of this review. I have never been compelled to write any review ever. However the service Certi have provided so far has led me to this point. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had.
Please use this as cautionary tail should you be considering signing up to this service.
Certi- I await your efforts to rectify this situation.

Was not sure about certain parts of T&C but spoke to customer services and they explained and sent a email detailing what we spoke about. Have just signed up very happy with the service.
Great site where everything is clear!!
Great site where everything is clear. My first cover as a new landlord. I want it for peace of mind so fingers crossed.
Landlord 309 cover
I have contacted your sales team three times and they have been very helpful with queries l had before joining certi.
The website to purchase cover for landlord boiler and plumbing insurance is straight forward.
I am happy to choose Certi.
!AVOID!
Every positive/excellent review is about how Certi took payment easily...NOT about the service! Every BAD review is from people who tried to actually use the service!
I have had dealings with Certi for almost a year now...STAY AWAY!!!
There business model appears to be to take payment and give no service. Reasons they have given me to not provide any service when I though I was covered range from everything from "wrong time of year" to "wear and tear" - which is not covered.
Certi control what they deem as "wear and tear", guess what, pretty much everything can be classed as wear and tear.
You have been warned...
Thank god a policy that covers unvented cylinders at last!
After spending hours looking on line and calling other companies to be told after being on hold for ages that they don't cover unvented cylinder systems I was so relived to call certi and be reassured straight away that certi do include these in the system cover. I was really impressed with the call handler who was helpful from start to finish and ensured I got the right level of cover. With so many new builds and larger houses having the unvented cylinder systems fitted it's great to find reasonable priced cover that includes my whole system. Thanks certi
Very BAD company, not fixing any issue
Very BAD company, I have the Home plan 300 which includes Plumbing and Drains, but they wont come out to fix,
1st time I called, they didn't believe the problems that I am having on the water going through the house, they said they wont investigate the problems, so I have asked my work engineer to have a look, and found out the control valve where the pipes are connected may not work properly, so I told them this, and they said this is not in the cover, asked me to ask my local plumber to do the work.
and I also have an issue of a toilet keep on leaking water, and they said they are not cover the toilet in En-suit, so they are not coming out..... never use this company again, just like to warn everyone else, although they are cheaper than other suppliers, there is no point to buy a cover who do not come out to fix the problems.
Great package
