FTToD order
FTToD order, very happy with communications from Cerberus. I think over 9 months I only had a handful of missed updates. The updates they give are always a week or two behind, but thats clearly OpenReach giving them a delayed status update.
Connection speed good so far, brief conversions with tech support good. At this point(only a week or so after going live) I would certainly recommend them.

the connection seems to work well (2 weeks in) , communication leading up to the connection was poor
Well handled order with great communication
Cerberus handled my order promptly and efficiently, including the process to gain government funding for part of the installation work.
Whilst there was a considerable amount of work for Openreach to complete Cerberus handled the communication of this really well and went above and beyond to manage the final appointment which required access to my premises - something which Openreach
managed to get wrong a couple of times.
It was great to see senior members of the Cerberus team taking time to get involved in the conversation as well.
Thank you from a very satisfied customer.
Great customer support
Professional
Professional, prompt, with customer service second to none.
Smaller ISP who have real support.
We ordered FTTPod from Cerberus and are extremely happy with it.
We did a joint order with the company next door and used the gigabit voucher scheme, which brought the cost down to a reasonable level to our rural site. Cerberus handled this process well.
The install took quite some time (a year from order to live) but this is not a criticism of Cerberus but is down to Openreach having to do quite a lot of work to pull the fibre in and Openreach not being particularly good at scheduling one task till the previous is complete. Cerberus kept us informed, nagged Openreach where appropriate, and handled the order well.
Now the service is live I can't fault it. We have 330/30mbit and it speed tests at over 300mbit down every time day or night. Before we had FTTP our old ISP used a microwave link and it was so intermittent I had a ping monitor open on my PC the whole time and could see all the lost packets. Since we have moved to Cerberus and FTTP the reliability is so good I forget to look at the ping monitor, when I do there are entire weeks without a single missed packet!
Other good things are:
The online portal which gives all the technical details and billing history.
The RSS feed for announcements about upcoming maintenance work or outages.
The support staff, During the install all that I have spoken to have been knowledgeable and did follow up to make sure everything was resolved.
So grateful to Cerberus for getting…
So grateful to Cerberus for getting fibre to my house after 3 years trying with BT. Less than 6 weeks after first contact we had 70mbs. Great personal service too, straight through to the same contact every time.
FTTP Never goes down always full speed
FTTP Never goes down always full speed. Really easy to deal with!
The pros and cons
It's a blazing fast wifi, never lag, never speed down. This is the pros. But I did experience two sudden internet losses in the past year, the two losses lasted about 6-7 hours, from night to early morning, right on the time when I was staying up late for working. I think the company should notify me when something like this happen or this is just some system malfunction out of their awareness. Or maybe this is their quarterly or periodically system maintenance, which they didn't notify the customer in advance. Maybe I am just unlucky that when it happened I was doing some important work. Anyway this was the only two unexpected experiences I have been through. Other than that the internet was perfect.
