the WORST site for science revision
the WORST site for science revision. you can get the answer correct but if it isnt in the right order (even though it still makes sense) you dont get it right. My school pass mark is 70% and i have wasted hours of my life on these dumb questions. Programming a feature where a different order is possible ISN NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Century, please fix your math courses!
I give century 2 stars. As a student, I am assigned to use century and cannot believe how dumb this thing is. It is a good use of time (if you want to learn other things than mathematics) and a good presentation, but for the rest it is really bugging me. I was answering a question and it said I was wrong, even though the official calculator said I was correct. I would only recommend this app for students as there is only mathematic courses until grade 5.
Conclusion: 4/10, not bad but definitely not good aswell. I have seen better resources than this one.
Total waste of time and money
Total waste of time and money. Tried using it to prepare my daughter for the ISEB Pre-Test and the system is difficult to use, unhelpfully set out, and with obvious mistakes. Furthermore, everyone is limited to just four Mock tests a month (one per subject) and then, when you take one, you can't even see which questions you got right or wrong. What help is that?! This is just the tip of the iceberg. Unfortunately not enough space here for me to list all the deficiencies of the system. Suffice it to say that I have cancelled my subscription and have found an infinitely better alternative provider. Phew!

The worst user interface for maths
The worst user interface for doing maths!!
Look at the screen below. An elementary student is supposed to do a vertical subtraction.
The digit of the answer are not even aligned below the numbers.
And typically in a subtraction or addition you start by the right-most digit. While in this user interface you have to start typing the answer from the left-most digit.
This is the worst user interface for teaching maths to elementary school students
The app is not fine tuned
The app is not fine tuned. You do not get feedback after a mock test, and when you are using it to do learning you cannot go back to the single questions after you finish a section.
They were clearly not ready to launch.

I use Century as a Home educator for my own children.
I really like the amount of information that is available behind the screen on the dashboard so that I can really see where the children need extra support and where they are stronger. I can also see exactly how long they have spent on each topic.
My children like the bite size learning - it's not overwhelming for them and the questions help to embed the learning for them.
Very unhelpful
Very unhelpful. Horrendous, complex explanations with confusing questions. Marks you wrong for accidentally misspelling a word, and sometimes even deducts over 30% of your total score for answering only two questions incorrectly. Horrific revision resource, use a book instead.
awful
awful. Why can't it record time properly is it actually dumb. why can't a computer count. how did i spend 1 second on a nugget.
The fact that it has everything in one…
The fact that it has everything in one account makes it more efficient for me to check on three kids and see how they perform. Also setting a habbit of continual learning.
It's actually pretty good
It's actually pretty good if you learn and stuff. Be grateful because I learnt from experience. Sparx.........
Fantastic Learning Platform
I am delighted to have found this platform via Bond online. Absolutely brilliant resource, my 10 year old daughter is practising for her independent school entrance exams in January. The platform is great for practising a little and often ever day, it tracks the areas your child needs more practise on. I love the new addition of the practise mock exams for independent schools, this is extremely valuable as my daughter will know what to expect in January. The price at around £30 per month is great. Try it you won't be disappointed. Also customer service on the phone is brilliant if you have any issues. Thank you century!
Bruh
I have been using Century for 3 weeks and I still am very confused on the percentage function as I get 1 question wrong in a 10 question test and it gives me 63% instead of 90%. Also for Chemistry if you want to put Compounds it doesn't let me go to caps therefore I get it wrong. Ca me enerve!!!! (My keyboard does't let me put the accents)
horrible experience
horrible experience, truly bad, often laggy, bad videos.
An all inclusive teaching aid
I discovered this working as a teaching assistant at a college in 2020, for someone who failed my GCSEs in 1997, if I’d had access to something like this back then, I would have passed or received higher grades. This platform if used with patience, care and concentration is an excellent learning aid. As a parent the cost for such a platform can be extortionate. I hope that century maintain the price point, as many parents like myself want their children to excel however do not have the means to offer that. This without exaggeration has been a godsend. It is well laid out, structured very well, and allows the parents to monitor work completed from a separate device. I would not say that it is something to completely rely on, as learners also require working on paper and committing time to timed tests in paper format. But in regards to repetitive learning, with a structured system, that also recognises where a learner can improve or stretch knowledge, it provides an algorithm on ensuring those subjects are not missed.
I do like the way each topic is broken down into a nugget, it may not be for everyone, however it has perfectly worked well for my child.
Furthermore I was impressed when I had an issue with adding a new learner, the service over the phone was impeccable, it’s clear that those who provide century genuinely care about making learning accessible and available to everyone.
My only area for improvement would be the sound quality for the videos, if those could be made louder, it would help a great deal.
crying and sobbing
Why the hell does it struggle to do a faction? Its a number above and under and maybe aside a line like are you demented? Do you need a few slams to the head? And also what are the nuggets actually used for because I don’t know whether it’s supposed to make me happy or not but yeah century, go shag a bin and disappear x
mrs watson has no gran
much better than sparx because sparx is dog and
this is a question for mrs watson mrs how is your gran?
Terrible!
I H century because I would expect it to be correct but multiple times it has been completely wrong! I am a student myself and the only thing I like about it is that you have to do at least 5 nuggets pre week to keep your streak. Also if you get 100% it says: You've got this... for now. It is NOT very helpful and motivating.
Century tech is very helpful as it helps my daughter develop a love for learning.
Century tech is very helpful as I have recently started homeschooling my daughter, especially topic videos, questions on every topic and recommendation nugget. easy to see how your child is progressing every day in their own time and pace. I would highly recommend it to anyone and experience Century Learning themselves.
Century tech is SO BORING
It is way to boring and you can’t even do anything it is just typing and sliding
Would recommend 100%
Amazing customer service experience from the start. Pupils are engaged, they love using the platform to help them with their learning and there is impact! What more could you want!
