DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY TYPE OF…

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY TYPE OF REMOVAL IF YOU WANT YOUR POSSESSIONS IN ONE PIECE AND I WORKING ORDER AT THE DESTINATION. I used them to move house on 19/08/2025 and got let down on the morning of the move by this company as I had checked twice with them about dismantling a 7ft high by 5ft wide wardrobe fitment I had to move that they would definitely reassemble at the other end. Only to be told they wouldn't be able to reassemble it at the destination as it was too big and they weren't insured to do it despite me giving them the dimensions twice when asking about it and twice being reassured they could dismantle and rebuild at the destination. On top of them letting me down with that, they charged me an extra £30 to unplumb my washing machine and reconnect it at the destination and then told me I couldn't use it as the stopcock that let's the water flow into the machine was missing from the pipework and therefore no water would get into the machine. So had to wait on my landlord sending out a plumber to replace the stopcock a few days later. When I did go to use the machine I couldn't get the detergent drawer to open, neither could my daughter. I contacted the director of the company as he actually done my removal along with one of his porters. He said how come it had took so long to contact him as it was five days after the move, but considering I waited three days to get the plumber out, then was busy unpacking boxes and cleaning cupboards for crockery to go into, I didn't have time to put a washing on until five days later. He then said it wasn't him that had damaged it. He said the plumber must have damaged it moving it to put the stopcock on, considering I watched the plumber put the stopcock on and know he was only working under the sink, he never touched the machine and the fact it was working perfectly fine right up until a few hours before this company removed it, it was obviously them that broke it. I have posted a review on this company's website only to be bad mouthed and accused of lying by the director, he also blocked me on messenger as that's how I initially contacted him. But he denied he had blocked me. He also said he has tried to rectify the problems but after seeing him struggle to take my wardrobe apart. There is no way I would let him or any of his associates near my washing machine as it was an expensive washing machine and I don't want it broken any further. I emailed him after he blocked me on messenger and I got a message this morning saying he will pay for the repairs to the washing machine if I remove my one star review from his website and put it in writing that I will not take legal action against him, but I am not removing my review as I am hoping it stops other people from using his company to do a removal for them if they don't have the money to replace their possessions if he breaks or damages them as although he claims he is insured he doesn't seem to want to claim on his insurance to reimburse me. He also said he will admit liability if I remove my review and don't take legal action against him. I have photographic evidence of him agreeing to rebuild my wardrobe, charging me an extra £30 for disconnecting and reconnecting my washing machine and the email about admitting liability for damaging my machine.
