Mandy and Lisa who helped us through our Dad's funeral were brilliant and were so kind and caring. The service they provided was top notch and helped me and my sister get through a difficult time.

Although the funeral was pre planned…
Although the funeral was pre planned the team at the Whittlesey office made the whole process simple for us at a time of our loss. They followed the plan and kept in contact with us up until the day of the funeral. They also called afterwards to make sure we were all okay and offered us councillors if we needed it.

Poor taste asking for a review of 'my purchase'
The support and organisation of my mother's funeral was good but I find it totally insensitive to be asked to rate 'my purchase' by giving my Mum's funeral a score out of 5! Not only that the funeral home has not bothered to respond to my email where I pointed out that I found this very upsetting. All the time you are asked whether you can opt out of emails about Mother's Day but apparently Central Co-op Funeral Care think it's OK to ask for a review of a deeply emotional time.

Arrange a cremation and scatter ashes
Co-op funeral Thurncourt rd arranged a cremation of an elderly relative, they also scattered the ashes for us too. The whole arrangement was handled professionally and with dignity.
We can't recommend the co-op funeral highly enough.

Mandy is a great advocate for the…
Mandy is a great advocate for the company. Also Sam who did the same for all 3 of my close relatives. She helped to arrange both my Aunty Jean's funerals in January 2020 and then also my Dear Dad's in April 2020 during covid situation which was horrific but circumstances made it so. We were allowed my Dad's cremated remains to attend my Mother's funeral in February 2026. Everyone was able to say a proper goodbye in that one service that covered both my Parents. Was a beautiful service and I'm thankful to J H Grice Coop branch for being Brilliant. Thank you kindly. I adore the staff but hopeful not to see them in a while for the obvious sad reasons as it involves loosing a relative.

Lovely people, very sympathetic and understanding how I was feeling. They gave I a quote on how much it would cost for the cremation. I was able to take it away and think about whether to go with them.

Unfortunately I have had to use the services twice recently, the funeral director remembered me and asked after the rest of my family.
When you are upset it is nice to have someone remember you and treat you as an individual rather than a number.
