My longstanding case against TalkTalk with CEDR was supposed to be settled today - - in so far as the adjudicator had until today to reach a decision. This has not happened. So I feel I have no... See more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Talkmobile.
My issues started when I tried to resolve a simple account matter and raise a complaint. Communication was poor throughout, and I experienced delays, repeated contact attempts, and difficulty obtaining a deadlock letter so that I could escalate my complaint.
I spent considerable time contacting customer services by phone and message, only to feel that my concerns were not being properly addressed. The complaints process was frustrating and far more difficult than it should have been.
Although my case was ultimately considered by CISAS, I remain dissatisfied with how Talkmobile handled my complaint and the overall level of customer service I received.
Based on my experience, I would encourage Talkmobile to improve its complaint handling procedures, communication with customers, and escalation processes.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Talkmobile based on my experience.
CEDR was my last hope in my battle with BA
I’ve heard some not so good stories about the performance of CEDR but my recent experience with them was faultless. The process was clunky but they succeeded within 48 hours to get British Airways to honour their obligations after trying to hide behind AI bots for 3 months.
Thank you CEDR.
Gerhardt Will's handling of a case…
Gerhardt Will's handling of a case raising concerns about SKY Business Internet providers. Outcome: The offer is derisory. The misogynistic treatment I received and therefore is inconclusive and we shall not accept this as a fair and legally just outcome.
A great introduction to mediation skills.
The training course is grounded in principles developed across many years, and distilled in a very useful handbook that is provided to you in advance, along with other course materials. The teaching lasts five days, with three experienced mediators introducing you to the key concepts in a very practical way. A real advantage is the interaction with other people taking the course - it's a supportive atmosphere, with energy and variety. Highly recommended.

CEDR
The course was very well run with a good balance of theory and practice. The role playing elements were very helpful, even when playing the role of one of the parties.
Waste of time and miss deadlines
They were one month late making a decision but in the meantime I negotiated with O2 and got a faire outcome. Please don’t waste your time going to this organisation. They don’t actually look at the evidence. The person who looked at my case claims to be a barrister and would suggest she goes back to law school as she has no idea what she is doing or saying but not surprised with the legal profession.
CEDR-Not fit for Purpose!!
They are a total waste of space and final decisions made by barristers -what do they know about telecommunications!
If you have any problems with o2 etc don’t waste your time asking for a deadlock letter as this lot will make you wait ages and if the phone company won’t budge ,they won’t ask the business to do anything and back them 100% and I rejected there decision in a second and that’s that.
All ombudsman should be shut down as they’re just not fit for purpose.
Failed to protect the consumer and made the process more stressful
My experience with CEDR/CISAS has left me seriously concerned about how this organisation handles consumer disputes, especially where accessibility needs are involved.
I brought a complaint against O2 after O2 themselves acknowledged repeated misinformation, poor complaint handling, inconsistent communication, failure to respect my request for written communication, and serious distress caused by the process. Despite this, the final decision awarded only £200 and left me tied into the contract, which does not reflect the impact or the practical reality of the situation.
I provided extensive evidence, including correspondence, complaint history, accessibility concerns, billing issues and the unresolved failure by O2 to provide information requested through a Data Subject Access Request. I do not feel these points were properly considered.
The process itself was also stressful and confusing. I had to repeatedly explain my accessibility needs, received fragmented information, dealt with different people, and experienced delays without clear updates. The decision was also not provided on the expected date, with no explanation at the time.
What concerns me most is that CEDR/CISAS is supposed to be an independent body helping consumers resolve disputes fairly. Yet my experience felt procedural, detached, and inadequate. Looking at the public Trustpilot rating and the high number of negative reviews, my experience does not appear to be isolated.
This is not a hate review. It is a factual account of a process that, in my view, failed to properly protect a consumer who had already been badly treated by a major telecom provider.
I expected careful review, accessibility awareness, and meaningful adjudication. What I received felt like another layer of bureaucracy.
Wast of time, they do nothing and take no action at all
I put one star as zero did not exist…
I called on CEDR to mediate a breach of contract from Virgin Media, who were charging me 44£ a month for a 27£ contract.
I wanted to cancel my contract with Virgin Media due to the breach of contract, but CEDR were not able to resolve this and I am now having to take legal action against Virgin Media, when it was a simple breach of contract…
It seems they work entirely for the Media, Broadband and Telecom companies, and to their advantages…
Don’t waste your time - the reviews say it all!
You pay a premium recorded delivery charge to ensure your document is
A. Delivered
B. You have an identifiable signature
C. The recipients name is also printed as evidence of delivery if necessary.
Royal Mail took 8 days to deliver and the only thing that was recorded was the initial T!
Not what I paid £3:60 for really.
Royal Mail felt this was acceptable as did the adjudicator at CEDR - unbelievable….
Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother….🤷♀️
I am extremely disappointed with the…
I am extremely disappointed with the mediation process between my company, Axmart Ltd, and Amazon regarding the deactivation of my seller account.
I provided original invoices and supporting documents to prove the authenticity of my products. However, Amazon rejected the invoices, and from my experience, neither Amazon nor the mediator made sufficient efforts to verify the documents directly with my supplier.
I paid a significant fee for mediation through CEDR expecting an independent and thorough review of the evidence. Unfortunately, I felt that the mediator relied heavily on Amazon's statements rather than conducting a full investigation. My supplier confirmed that they did not receive any calls or emails requesting verification of the invoices, which raises concerns about how the evidence was assessed.
As a result, my appeal was unsuccessful. I expected a fair and impartial process, but I left with the impression that my evidence was not properly considered. Based on my experience, I do not believe the mediation process provided the independent review that I was paying for.
This review reflects my personal experience with the case and the concerns I have regarding the handling of the evidence and investigation.
I had a mediation case against Amazon…
I had a mediation case against Amazon and provided all the required documents and paid £400 to CEDR. After waiting for three years without receiving any update, I contacted them to ask about the status of my case.
I was then told that they had been unable to raise the matter with Amazon and apologized for the lack of communication. This was extremely disappointing, especially after holding my money for three years without resolving the issue or keeping me informed.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their mediation service. The lack of communication, delay, and handling of my case fell far below my expectations. If you are considering using their services, I would advise you to think carefully before doing so.
Awful
Awful. All this hanging about just to end up with the amount sky made. 100 pounds. Not good enough. Wasted my time. They better let me have the money in my bank. I’m not staying with sky. This doesn’t change a thing. Sky were the ones who mentioned cisas in the first place. As they were unhelpful. Poor outcome
A very good experience using CEDR
I had a very good experience using CEDR in a dispute against an airline. It was a slow process, caused by the airline taking a long time to respond, but for me this service worked really well, and the airline was forced to pay out after previously rejecting the claim.
Terrible service from this company...
Terrible service from this company,
not worthy of 1 star...
very, very long drawn out process,
the procedure is horrendous,
which was a total waste of time!!!
customer advisors no help at all,
also they take ages to reply to messages,
plus unable to speak with or message the adjudicator,
they did not help me with my case with Vodafone,
just back to where I started with Vodafone's original offer,
lost over £1000 in business revenue, due to Vodafone's incompetence,
received £100 in compensation,
absolutely disgusting....
Great training
Great training. Learned more than the obvious which is covered in every negotiation training.
I took a case to them about Bad New…
I took a case to them about Bad New Build Failures
They Took the Case on
A lot of Information past between us Via the Portal
Then it all went quiet
I checked the Portal as no New Emails had been received
I find that it said, the Builders were not happy with the Case
Next Line KEIR P, not S, closed the case on the Grounds that it was not in Scope
Several Emails were Sent
KEIR P, was asked, why , but no explanation
Looking Back through the Files...there was a clear EMAIL that said it WAS in Scope
This was pointed out to KEIR P, which he never replied to, he was also asked,, if he was paid to close the case, as that was an issue in the original case , but he Declined to answer
KIER P, not S, then Removed the Comment off the Portal , after he had been caught out
KIER P, has never Justified any Actions or Answered Any questions
Fraud, Investigation will be able to check Portals and find anything thst has been changed
A very Serious Issue
I had a mediation case against Amazon
I had a mediation case against Amazon. I explained to them that Amazon linked my account with someone else’s account incorrectly. I provided all the required documents. The other person was very helpful and gave me his passport and his company documents, which I submitted to the mediator, Shannell.
However, she did not raise this properly with Amazon and sent me a final response saying that my account is linked. I have already explained that yes, it shows as linked, but the problem is that it has been linked wrongly. Amazon believes that the other company belongs to me, which is not true.
I am very unhappy with how this has been handled. It seems they do not have proper knowledge or understanding of the situation. Because of this, I now want to take this matter to court.
