BEWARE
BEWARE - I paid for a recovery and launch to fix a problem with my engine which was cutting out when warm after 10-15 mins. They carried out diagnostics which was clear and then proceeded with the service as requested but on returning the boat back to me the problem IMMEDIATELY remained evident. When I informed them the engine was still cutting out they tried to repair on my pontoon but when unable to resolve collected the boat again to take back to their premises. I was then amazed when receiving my invoice that they had charged me again for the recovery and launch. They did not inform me they were going to charge again for the recovery and launch to find a problem that PRE-EXISTED the first time they had it and I had not authorised such a duplication of charges. They also did not keep me informed of potential costs and chargeable time for prior agreement before any remediation work was carried out yet they gladly reminded me of their right to a lien and interest in their terms and conditions when you raise a dispute regarding the invoice.
