If I could leave them no stars, I would, they are the worst letting agents I have ever used. The flat was let through Cavenders, who then let it to a guy called Gaurav Sharma, who runs a property company called Lumos Property. He then put multiple occupants into our 2-bedroom flat, all of which was denied by Cavenders, despite us having photographic evidence of this happening. The tenancy was cut short due to major work needed to be done on the roof.
The flat has been trashed by this guys tenants including a smashed in door, a bathroom floor completely ruined, and various other broken items. Cavenders did not take a deposit from this guy, and claimed they do a lot of business with him, so it will not be a problem. I will now be reporting Cavenders to their government redress scheme. As they will be now responsible to fix all the damage, avoid this agents at all costs, About time you took time to read your reviews Matt Cavender

CAVENDERS they suck and the steal they lie

A TERRIBLE COMPANY

Matt was the most unhelpful and rude estate agent I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with. Not only that he has repeatedly lied about what was previously agreed. Very unprofessional and would never use.

Appalling estate agents. Patronising and aggressive when I called them out on a dangerous property they had been letting for years. It was flagged as having a variety of non safety compliant issues and when I raised them they became aggressive. Absolutely avoid.

Don’t use Cavender’s, you will waste your time and money with a great deal of stress. Just letting everyone know about these amateurs.

Cavenders are a well run, efficient and friendly estate agent. They differ from the large estate agent chains by being more hands on and less pushy. As a landlord this is why I chose them. They appear to have always handled matters with tenants extremely well, including any maintenance issues. Recommended.
