Beware of CatShield - MillerCat Reviews: Phony

Beware, other reviews online have been "edited and/or omitted" by MillerCat.

As a customer, you are sent a survey. If you are critical, it is SENT TO MILLERCAT by "Judge.Me" survey company and MillerCat themselves CHOOSE whether it gets published. This was told directly to me.

Here is MY review that was rejected:

"Customer Service, Sub-Par. Quality? TBD.
Bought the Stainless version, $200. Had it installed A-OK by a local pro days after it arrived. Gave them the box and it took less than hour to install.

However, nowhere was I told that the REGULAR screws had a "proprietary" Bit and that I should ask for it to be given to me after install.

Well, I found this out by happenstance 2 days later, called the shop and they couldn't find it.

Emailed MillerCat, explained the situation and asked how to get another Bit. I naively thought they'd send me one for free or maybe charge me a few bucks for postage. Wrong!

The response? "Click this link and pay TWENTY DOLLARS" for a 25 cent Bit.

I balked at spending 10% of the cost of the product for a 1/2" Bit.

Their response was a full page email "this is a special product, high security, imported blah blah blah".

As someone that was in charge of purchasing 100's of custom sizess and millions of dollars of products directly from Asia annually, give me a break!

Pure greed. Plain and simple. No attempt to make me happy, no attempt to take responsibility for not informing customers to "keep the Bit".

Well, I got lucky, the shop called and found the tiny drill bit. They remarked it looks like "nothing sophisticated" and said they were pleased they found it for me.

At least they know something about customer service."
