Catertrax is user friendly for myself and my clients. I do wish that I could directly speak with someone when I have a problem instead of submitting a help ticket but if this is my only complaint life is good!
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

What a great tool for my industry for tracking and projecting.
Catertrax is a great way to organize BEO's and keep in communication between the FOH and BOH.
It is a great program. I just wish you could pull up reports for specific clients was a little easier.

Our company has been using CaterTrax for a year and a half now. Most of our customers like the system, but there are also a handful that don't find it user friendly and I enter their event information for them.
When adjustments need to be made to CaterTrax that are beyond what I am able to do, I generally have had a good experience with turn around time. This summer, though, I had several required adjustments and I put them on a Excel sheet. I was disappointed that I had to request 3 different times to get everything completed on this list.
Overall, I have had a good transition to the on-line catering program.
I don't like that I can't add my own menu items as needed; also adding items to a costumer order is way more cumbersome now. The new menu edit tool is pretty poor, cannot filter items properly ad the only thing you can edit is to turn it off or on. I liked the system way better 2 "upgrades" ago.

Upside is the feature that allows clients to build and review their events from the start and finish on line! It also allows me, as the catering manager to help build and modify as needed for a successful event.

I have had some very good interactions with CaterTrax support. They've been patient helpful when asked to make changes and patient when i've changed my mind or miscommunicated information.

We are very happy with CaterTrax. We use CaterTrax for both of webhosting and our on-line catering ordering system.

I would recommend this company and program to anyone but especially if you do not use a catering program. This group maintains your sight, responds quickly to service requests is friendly and helpful. They will build any kind of report you need. The program is easy to use. The one thing I do not like is the shopping cart. I like to see my running order as I place it.
Edits are easy to make, billing is easy to follow and the clients love the different colored push pins.

Before CaterTrax, we were spending hours inputting our catering orders into excel. I used CaterTrax at a previous job presented the benefits of using this program to my boss. He was on board, but our corporate office wanted us to use Caterease. I put together another presentation comparing the two programs and and after a long discussion, we were able to get CaterTrax. I saw the light at the end of the tunnel! This was the best thing we brought to our department and clients.

Olesh takes great care of the retailers using CaterTrax - he makes it so easy to get things changed. And so incredibly nice and efficient. A pleasure to work with!

I really enjoyed CaterTrax as a useful tool to organize our catering events for the past 3 and a half years. However, the recent "upgrade" has left us unable to edit anything ourselves, requiring a support ticket for the most minor of menu or price changes...and half the time the requested change isn't even done correctly, requiring a second or third support ticket because they're auto-closed when the task is "complete".
I'm shopping around for other services now because I've lost the control and customization that made this service useful.

When I started working for a new company that did not use any kind of software program, I showed them how CaterTrax works and how it would make the ordering system much easier. It made it easy for them to get started with menus and ordering online. We started a new company that handles pharmaceutical rep lunches and deliveries. CaterTrax is so easy to use and keeps track of my monthly sales. The ease of ordering is great for our customers, staff and I. I would recommend CaterTrax to any restaurants!"
