We popped into the York gallery on the off chance of seeing one of the ‘Gone’ series, I’ve had my eye on for a while, in real life. We had no intention of buying one which wasn’t displayed, but were made to feel so comfortable and welcome by Stuart, we left having purchased a Pixie Dust print! The whole process with Stuart was fantastic. He was extremely helpful and patient and didn’t make us feel ‘on edge’ with our art-loving 6 year old (which sadly lots of gallery shops do). We are so happy we chose to step inside Castle Fine Arts yesterday and are so happy Stuart was there to help us choose the perfect art work.
Would highly recommend.

Disapointing experience: 8 - week delay and poor communication.
I am deeply disapointed with the service provided by castle fine art Manchester regarding my recent order. While the quality of the art itself is what one would expect, the customer experience was far below professional standards.
My artwork took over eight weeks to arrive. While delays can happen, the primary issue was the total lack of proactive communication. During this two month wait, I recieved very little support or information regarding the status of my order. When I reached out for updates,the response and support were consistently poor and confused.
For a gallery that positions itself as a premium service, the lack of transparency and customer care is unaccepatable. I hope they take feedback seriously and improve the communication protocols for future clients.
I don't know if we are naive, we ordered the lovely framed set of three summer 2025 Paul cornfield prints, and my order was made up of artwork from shop displays from different galleries, they transferred at least one from the Canterbury gallery. Is this the norm for Castle fine art?

Still no response from Castle fine arts, Rachael only seems to respond to 5 star reviews and not to customers who have had problems with poor service.
I guess selling shop soiled art is the norm with this company.

Very poor service, no communication.
I have purchased from Castle Fine art in person from their Nottingham branch many times over the years and never had an issue. However my 2 most recent purchases have been made online and the service has been abysmal.
They do estimate a long delivery window (up to 4 weeks) but when spending thousands you do expect to be kept informed or at least be able to see the progress through the order tracking link you get on the auto generated confirmation email.
My first online piece arrived within a fortnight, so not too unreasonable, however my latest order is now at the 4 week point and the status on the order tracker hasn’t changed (in fact the link had expired and I had to request another in order to see that the status hadn’t moved beyond ‘confirmed’)
I have tried to call them, the phone diverts to a mobile number with the option to leave a voicemail. I have emailed but have not had a response. But this is consistent with the service others have reported.
In summary, buy in person not online!

I commissioned a piece by the Bisaillon brothers as I already had a piece of their work I was updated on its progress, a few phone calls and emails,I was able to change a few things after seeing a ‘sample’ , it took a few months but worth the wait. Tony delivered it , moved another piece to make them work together , go the heights spot on . Great work and service

I purchased some art by Boy George during an event evening in Cardiff. Art consultant Hana looked after me before and after my purchase with advice and updates. This was not a quick process as the piece I chose was not at the gallery on the night but was shown to me on a computer as one she thought I'd like. Having the opportunity to chat with and have photos taken with George made my experience even more special.
Fast forward to March and my artwork was delivered and mounted by Tony who took the time to offer advice on the best place to put it. He also took the time to rearrange and mount art that had to be taken down to make space for the new piece.
All in all a brilliant experiece and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Castle Fine Arts again. Thank you to all involved.
