I love Castle Estate. Ordering is really easy, Rebecca has always been so helpful when I've had a question or there's been a technical issue. Most importantly, the meat is excellent quality and I really appreciate that it's ethically raised. For me, it's well worth the extra cost to be more sustainable and ethical in my families meat consumption.

It's so great to buy ethically grown meat that tastes Amazing, supporting local producers and it's all delivered to my door!! Having a selection of other locally produced pantry and dairy products just completes the package.

Great service, including changing the delivery date when requested

As usual, the quality of all the different meat cuts was superb. I would prefer, however, that the chicken thighs be NOT wrapped in a plastic container.

I sent you a message via Facebook too (to which I've received no response). I wholly support the ethos of your product and you've provided stellar service until recently. Farm to table with the least amount of stress to the animal is my primary concern and you clearly strive to achieve that. However, in recent times your service has really declined. I am a very small order so I understand I'm probably not high on your priorities and you have to cater to the majority. Regardless, I have several concerns that I hope will improve your service. Your delivery driver no longer calls when he delivers. This means the meat can sit, without temperature control, outside for several hours. Your invoicing now means that regardless of what is packed, I've paid (I liked the old system where I paid for what was available). I can no longer order individual quantities (yes, I understand this is probably the least feasible of your options, but it was one of the reasons I chose you). The prices have gone up and the service has gone down. When I received my last box, the packer hadn't even bothered to make the box properly so the mean was hanging out (sitting on the concrete) of the box. Do what you will with this info. I'm going to start looking around for a local supplier. Best wishes.

As a long term customer of Simply Free Range & Koallah farms I expected good quality, tasty meat - and I got it.
Name change and new web site: new name is fine. Web site slick and up to date (though looks similar to many other food/hospitality sites - and the word 'providore' is much over used). I found the ordering section a little harder to negotiate than previous simple order system, and noted that on line payment automatically adds delivery cost even though I pick up my order from the farm.

My order was fully completed and delivered as was promised.
The only thing I would like to see changed is that the vacuum packed meats only have the dates of when they were packed and not a 'use by' date which makes it hard for customers to know when products need to be comsumed by.
