Genuinely the worst ATM experience ever

Genuinely the worst ATM experience. Tried to activate a fresh credit card and it swallowed the card. Went into SPAR to ask for a number to call and the lady told me that specific ATM had swallowed multiple cards in the last few weeks.
Called the number and customer service was an all time low, telling me they cant send out a technician and to just cancel my card.

I would highly advise not using these ATMs as all reviews are bad.

Very Slow ATM

Used the Cashzone ATM at my local CO-OP yesterday. Although the machine did work it was VERY slow to the point at which, having waited several minutes, I tried to cancel the transaction. The machine held my card and wouldn't let me cancel but it did eventually dispense cash. It was a very unnerving experience and I would suggest people avoid using these ATMs and find a normal Link machine instead.

Rock Bottom Customer Service

Speechless really. Customer service at its rock bottom. After the muttering came sarcasm, abuse then they hang up. This company should not be allowed to operate.

Worst 'customer care' I've experienced

Cashzone has the worst 'customer care helpline' I have ever had the misfortune to use. The call handler was sarcastic, unapologetic, not reassuring and tried to cut me off by hanging up. He had no interest in my complaint, or predicament, and his only 'help' was to tell me to contact my bank. The ATM was clearly faulty, but he couldn't care less about it.
Giving them one star is being over -generous.

Avoid CashZone ATM’s at ALL costs !

I seldom use ATM’s but having used an ATM today owned and operated by a Company called CashZone whereby I received a response telling me it wasn’t possible to issue a receipt at this time, - it then proceeded to debit my account - but failed to dispense ANY cash! I’ve never experienced this before and stood at the machine for 30mins while I called my bank!
The agent from my bank immediately said this company had an extremely bad reputation and now looking at the reviews. I can see he was right
Why on earth these untrustworthy companies are permitted to continue scamming members of the hardworking public I do not know ma sign of how this country is going further and further downhill
Roll on a new government …that can actually do something about the shocking state of this country - as whoever comes into power next time cannot possibly be as bad as the current shambles

Absolute robbing scammers

Absolute robbing scammers. Cashpoint has according to Asda staff "notworked for 3 whole days and at least 9 Asda customers have been affected" yet it's still taking your money out of your account when you try to withdraw cash and then they don't dispense the cash. The machine has not been disabled in any way, they just keep taking your cash out of your bank account and no cash dispensed! I've been told by my bank that it could take up to 15 days to get my money back. Link do not want to know, i contacted Cashzone who own the machine who were worse..... saying they "can't do anything about the machine until it Asda( where the cashpoint is located), contact them directly". I spoke to Asda customer services desk who said they have nothing to do with these machines, they have no responsibility for these machines and would not be making contact with Cashpoint. It's modern day theft and potential fraud! What kind of racket is this company? Shocking!

Machines Taking Cards

When the machines are out of money to dispense, they retain the next customers card! I have just used the ATM machine in my local Coop and to say I'm frustrated is an understatement. The Coop employee nonchalantly advised "oh yeah it's out of cash" after I queried why my card had been kept by the machine. I asked why a notice was not put on the machine advising of this and his next reply was "it's not our machine, so we can't put a notice on it" This beggards belief, tbh.
In this digital era that we live in, then surely a ntice from the machine owner can be put on the screen advising that it's not working. You'll get a notification advising there's no money in the machine so this prompt should enable you to advise the next customers. People cannot be without their cash cards for a week. If people haven't got internet banking / banking apps then it'll be difficult for them to advise their bank of the situation.

AVOID THESE MACHINES

Tried to withdraw £250 from a cash zone atm outside my local Asda, it spat my card out and said an error had occurred I would not be charged for the transaction and was given a receipt saying it had not dispensed my cash, so I used the one next to it as there’s 2 of them and withdrew my £250 out of that one, checked my bank and £255 was taken from my bank twice, contacted my bank to dispute the transaction and Iv been told I have to wait for cash zone to respond which could take 50 days, this was 2 days before Christmas so I am now £255 out of pocket till they decide to respond AVOID THESE MACHINES!!!!

DO NOT USE CASHZONE MACHINES

I requested a £30 withdrawal at the cash machine, outside Co-op, High Street, Broadstairs, yet it gave me £20. This machine often fails to give a receipt and must not be used. It is clearly faulty, but I am now suspicious of anything marked Cashzone, after reading other bad reviews from many other people.

A scam or just incompetence?

Like it seems many many others I went to get £50 cash from a cashzone atm in Ashington West Sx BP Garage. The machine processed my request but did not dispense any cash. However there was no error message. I phoned the help number on the machine and spoke to staff inside the garage. Garage staff said they were unable to help but knew the machine wasn’t working. I wrote a note to warn others and posted on local FB village group . Cashzone help line said my bank would look into my claim after 24hours but I needed to notify the bank myself. Clearly they were nt interested. It’s a brilliant money making scheme for them! I was even more surprised that my bank made it really hard to report and log the error as it relies on an automated system which often failed I needed to highlight that on social media before I got a response. They then said IF my claim was upheld it might take over 15 days to get the money returned! I think it’s absolutely shocking at any time of year but around Christmas it’s awful! I will never use cashzone again and I’m going to progress my complaint with banking standards

No Cash Given

Tried to get cash from the ATM Coop Cockerton Darlington. I waited and nothing was dispensed. It then flashed up out of service and then it went back to the normal screen. I went into the Coop (it’s not their ATM just to be clear) to ask if they would put up an “out of service” sign to prevent others from losing out but they’re not allowed as it’s not their ATM. I’ve contacted my bank but have to wait 24 hours to see if the cash is returned! Apparently this machine is regularly disfunctioning but Cash Zone has not done anything about it. Do not use this ATM.

I will never use a cash zone ATM again.

I will never use a cash zone ATM again.
I was debited for £40 that was never dispensed by the machine at Michael Wood Services on the M5. The machine says you have to raise the issue with your bank, which I did. The outcome was there were no errors!!! The machine would surely record the discrepancy so this is daylight robbery. Absolutely appalled!
