These guys mugged me for 15 quid. I only wanted and paid for one car history check but was charged 15 GBP again next month for no reasons. Someone should report these guys to small claims court !
The report is ok but what they don't tell you on the homepage or selection page for silver £2.99 gold £7.49 or platinum £11.99 is for the full platinum check you will need the V5 registration documen... See more

Saved us a fortune

I used the Platinum Car Status Check for just £9.99. This provided me with a full history of the vehicle. I felt reassured having confirmation that there was no hidden problems with the vehicle. I would recommmend for peace of mind.

nearly as many car status web sites as dogy cars
i was locked out of completing 10000 pound gaurantee because i counld produce correct v5 issue date yet the serial number was correct when a v5 is issued a serial no' is given to it the two go together i feel this is deliberate ploy to avoid supplying a gaurantee
all other checks came out ok
cheap check but money spinner or what

We do allow for 3 attempts at updating the V5 information however if there are any reasons why you may need to update again, we do have a customer service team available for any queries who can respond directly (statuscheck@hpi.co.uk). I have added another attempt to activate the guarantee on your check so please go in and update this with the V5 information. You will also have received an email with further information.

Your check threw up a finance problem on my purchase.
Since then the problem has been satisfactorily resolved and I am buying the car.
