The shop is fine but I could not return 5 extra packets of laminaat I ordered. So I was left with around 200 euro loss. I will throw it away, which is super for environment as I could not sell it. You should really upgrade your policy!!

I've bought two roller blinds on 01/05. They sent someone to measure the windows and the measures were wrong when they delivered them.
I've visited the store, in person, 3 times after I bought it to try to solve the problem, but they are not even giving me feedback about the solution, which is a new roller blind.
It seems they are (CarpetRight) fighting within the company who made the roller blind, and I'm between.
And my problem wasn't solved until I'm writing this review, 22/08, almost 4 months I bought it.
I don't recommend them at all.

Service was good and the staff was helpful but the time given to get a professional to come fix the carpet was too far, like two month away. I am buying the carpet because i needed to use it in a new home, so getting to wait for 2 months was a no,no for me. I will rather go and patronize another company that will give me a quicker service. Time is of essence to most customers.
The person receiving us was not that expert I would say. He was trying to manipulate us with his views rather than accepting our views or wishs.

Disappointing experience overall. Stair carpet: 1) first it was not clarified that I needed to remove all carpets & nails prior to fitting 2) after the fitting the fitter left blades, empty cans and rubbish for me to dispose off (in a house that has young children) ; Window Blinds 1) after the measurements were taken by the company, the fitter sent over did not know how to install it, also quite rude. For the combined order, the accounts department was chasing for payment before the final invoice was even issued. I would not recommend for products where they need to fit it.

Unfortunately we had a truly terrible experience with CarpetRight and its contractor/installers from beginning to end. The employee at the store forgot to submit our order for a week and only realised it when we chased them, causing the first delay. Then the installer didn't show up to come take the measurements after I'd booked time off work and didn't call until quite late, so we had to reschedule, losing more time.
Then the installers only did two rooms before our move even though we'd placed the order well before our move-in date, did a poor job in those (carpet has already begun pulling away from the walls even though we waited to put furniture in, bumps under the floor, smudges of carpet glue on things, damaging the paint in the rooms, etc), and even spilled coffee on my windowsill and didn't say anything about it so I could at least clean it up, and it's now stained.
During the week of the move, we kept chasing CarpetRight, who kept telling us people would show up on different days, so we waited at home all day for people who never showed up. During this whole time the store kept giving us incorrect info re dates, telling us they'd added a note onto our account re compensation, etc. Finally they finished the installation, doing a mediocre job on everything else as well.
Even after complaining to the head office and to the store, no one has bothered to contact us after the work to discuss the compensation they mentioned they'd noted on our file, or even to apologise for the awful experience. We are now chasing the head office and store about this, but so far with no response. Very dissatisfied with the service from CarpetRight, I will certainly never shop there again and will recommend the same to my friends.

The floor its self looks great, but the placement is terrible. The plinths are already loose after 1 month, the placement in certain spots is absolutely terrible. Also, the people who came to lay the floor were very rude, did not clean up anything after themselves. Would not recommend.

I had made an order for carpets from carpetright for stairs and the first floor for my house on 26th Jan, and the installation date was supposed to be 22nd of Feb. Before the installation date you called me to change the installation date to 25th Feb because of a delay in receiving the carpet from the provider. I accepted the new suggested date but I had highlighted that no more delays should happen as I was moving to the house by 26th Feb. You confirmed that all the world would be done in the same day and the carpets should be completely fitted by the end of the day.
What happened at the beginning is that the fitting company refused to do the fitting on the luminade for the floor, and they said they will only do the stairs. You called another company to do the fitting for the floor and scheduled that for 26th, and asked the first company to only do the stairs. What happened is that the first company on 25th of Feb almost did not do anything except cutting the carpets for the stairs, and they said they will come on the following day at 8:00 AM to do the fitting.
On 26th the first company sent just one guy, who started working on stairs fitting. At 1:00 PM once the other company came to do the floor fitting, the guy who working on the stairs stopped working and left the housing in the middle of the job leaving all the stairs covered with glue and not usable at all. AT the beginning he said he will be back in two hours once the other guys finish the floor installation (although you arranged with him to work while the other company was doing the floor fitting) BUT he did not show up again leaving the house in a messy situation and not usable at all (with glue covering all the stairs, and he removed the main house entrance corridor door and blocked with it the main house door). That was on last Friday, while I had moved with my family and two kids to the house and were stuck and not able to go on the stairs.
I called carpetright to solve the situation and they failed to reach the company, and it ended that I stayed all the weekend with this messing situation with the glue on the stairs.
As a summary, carpet requested to get full payment before the fitting starts, and you got that, but I did not get the carpets installed in time neither in a professional way, and you made me suffer for three days with a messy situation.
Worst possible experience. The least professional I've experienced in the ten years I've lived in Netherlands. Would have given zero stars if possible.

Carpetright or Carpetwrong it should be has a horrible way of doing business. At least the one at Spaklerweg in Amsterdam but I am guessing that it is the same all over.
First of all their sales personal are pushy and rushes you into making decisions and even adds things to the order before asking you and then only quickly rush through it.
Also when carpetright advertise free installation of floor, be aware that they do not include the laying of even the under floor in this "free" service. And yes, they charge oh so much more for the other services, not to mention their prices for the other products that you need - some of them up to a 500% mark up to other shops. So much for free installation.
After being rushed by one of the sales people, Bas, he promises that the installer will call "today or latest tomorrow" since we make clear that we need it to go pretty fast. Nobody calls! The day after we call them and they promise to get back to us again the same day or the day after. No call. Two weeks later they have still not made an arrangement for the fitting. When my wife calls them they are rude, lie and tells her that we have to "compensate" them with 900€uros if we cancel even though they have done absolutely nothing (apart from insulting my wife).
The next step will be to call a lawyer.

I purchased blinds for my entire house; 10 in total. Carpetright had someone install the blinds. Two keep falling down. Carpetright will do nothing to fix the situation. I will not make another purchase at Carpetright.

Terrible customer service. We never get an answer, in the shop they don't even acknowledge you even though you stand there for 30 minutes trying to get their attention. Our roll blind was picked up 5 weeks ago to be repaired or replaced and nothing? No answers on the telephone and eventually when you talk to someone in the shop, they can't give an answer, nothing. So where is my window blind? Nobody knows!! Ridiculous company and no values.

We had our whole apartment completed with real wood flooring, which was fitted by subcontractors of carpet right in Amsterdam. There were issues from day one, and still months after the install I am having to correct the poor quality they provided. Initially, marks and chips were in the floor. The cuts around the edges were horrendous, when I mentioned that they didn't use the right tool for it, he even agreed. This makes no sense. When I pulled the lead contractor up on this, his reply was he didn't do it, the other guy did. Considering he was in charge, is a ridiculous thing to say.
This went on for a long time and the agreement was for them to do the skirting boards for free, that was fine. However when they filled down the back edge, they left it a mess, it was like they'd done it for the first time. Still having to clear the mess up that was left and re-fill it myself. Also there are still gaps in between the flooring throughout the home, which is infuriating.
Honestly such bad craftsmanship!
Also there is an area where the flooring was not tight enough together, so they came back to correct it. Whatever they did clearly didn't work as the flooring is still coming apart. Shocking.
Advice, go somewhere else. If you have already purchased, make sure an employee installs the flooring, not a subcontractor. An employee will do right by the company, a subcontractor is just trying to get in and out in the quickest possible time.
