Never to be used again !!

Have used this company in the past to fit out all our carpets. However, this time (when we spent over £1,800) we were far from happy. The living room carpet arrived too short. The fitters asked us what we wanted to do. We could not have them take it back and replace it as we had people staying and we didn't want the disruption again (I'm disabled, and my partner is 70 years old). The fitters suggested that they could make us up a free mat in the same material to cover the gap. We would also get a discount off the bill. We reluctantly agreed to this. They gave the excuse that sometimes the carpets come up slightly larger or slightly smaller (?) If they had said this at the time, we would have gone for a slightly larger amount and paid the extra to have a carpet that does not have a join in it ! When we went to pay, the mat (which was supposed to have been free) was part of the discount, as were 2 carpet bars they SOLD us,which the fitters had not fitted. So, we ended up paying the full bill anyway, and the mat is no good, as it for ever moving around the floor. We thought that we were doing the right thing by taken our business to local companies, but I can now appreciate why most people to go national chain stores to make any purchases.

Please avoid

Please avoid. Had 9 visits from fitters in total - 2 doing the job and 7 trying (and failing) to fix the numerous issues. Owner was friendly enough until it became a hassle and then I had to continuously chase responses. Ended up having to settle for a partial refund that will not cover all costs to fix everything to avoid having to take him to court. Owner said it was the worst repair job he’d seen in 20 years yet still didn’t see fit to cover full cost to put right.

Shocking! Stay clear!!

Fitter came to install, he was rude from the off, didn’t want to do the work, tried charging more while in my home even though the quote was arranged with the office. He then stormed out leaving nails and rubbish with my small children there. Office where rude and not understanding, told me I’d have to wait a week for someone else. They wouldn’t cover the cost of damages made by the fitter. They then cancelled the work all together because I demanded to speak to the owner. I’ve now been left with no floor and a big mess! Stay clear
