SEEMS LIKE A SCAM - DO NOT USE!
Eight hours before we were due to bring the car to their car park, we were told there was maintenance taking place at the car park and they were 'upgrading' us to a meet & greet service.
We wondered where, if there's maintenance taking place at the car park, they were planning on leaving our car. It's reasonable to assume if cars can go in and out then people can too. That lead us to believe that the car park wasn't what they advertised it to be.
Secondly, we don't see meet and greet as an ‘upgrade’ - we want to know the car is secure while we're away and a meet and greet service doesn't allow us to see where the car is left. Unfortunately, we were given no choice.
We contacted multiple times about getting a refund because the notice was far too short and we weren't comfortable with leaving the car with them based on all of this. We had no response for a week, until we called them today and were ushered off the phone.
BBC Watchdog have been informed as so many have had the same experience.
DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK
DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK. IT IS A SCAM. They will text you the day before you are due to depart and say due to works at their car park they will meet you at the airport and you hand your car over. They phrase this as an upgrade to their "meet and greet" service. Once digging into the reviews, you can clearly see that this is an orchestrated scheme, and others have noted that they have received parking fines from their car's being left in places not suitable, and definitely not a dedicated secure car park.
We received the text informing us of our "upgrade" at 9:00pm, when we were due to drop the car off at 04:30am the next morning, purposely late notice to avoid disputes.
I immediately contacted them on the mobile numbers provided, to request this be cancelled and a refund due as this was not the service we booked or paid for. I have since had NO responses, and will be taking this further with action.
THIS IS A SCAM CAR PARK - DO NOT USE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
They illegally parked my car
Like many others on here I also received a Park Maven parking fine after this company parked my car at a playing field nearby, for 3 days. DO NOT USE
Worst parking company I have ever used
Worst parking company I have ever used
Phoned 20 mins before arrival as instructed to be left waiting at valet parking for almost 30 mins
On the way back inbound flight landed at 1.30am
Phoned at around 1.50am when in baggage claim and was told to phone when bags were collected, phoned at 2am and was told not to leave the airport as staff were changing over (no mention of this in the booking confirmation that there was a change over at 2am) was told to phone back in 20 mins, I did just that and was told it was going to be another 30 mins
Over an hour later of waiting with about 20 people in the same situation as me, I finally got my car back!
2 weeks later I get a parking fine notice for the 2 days, 16 hours and 7 mins of entrusting my car with them.
Do not use!!
Avoid at all cost
I used the service from this company at the beginning of June; few days later I received a parking fine for the time my car was supposedly under their care; as it transpires my car was parked in a random public car park for 3 days (no association to the company whatsoever). I have made numerous attempts to resolve this by e mailing and calling but so far no actions have been taken. I think it is outrages to claim that your car would be looked after only for the staff to dump it in random places for days, unattended. I still haven't received any resolution or update on my refund request as this is not at all what I was promised and paid for. Avoid this company at all cost.
I used AK meet and greet
I used AK meet and greet, and have recieved a parking fine of £100 as our car was pictured and left on a playing field. I contacted AK meet and greet and they assured me it would be sorted ive since recieved another letter for payment. This is awful never experienced this beforeand i travel lots. We didnt orinally even book a meet and greet service we booked parking with a shuttle. However, the day before they contacted us to say due to work on the parking area we would be upgraded to meet and greet. Weirdly they took a £6 card payment too which explained on website would befor a shuttle service but we didnt need a shuttle?! All seems a con

I would strongly advise against using AK Meet & Greet.
When I left my vehicle with them, I was assured that it would be parked in a secure car park while I was away. However, after returning from my trip, I received a £100 parking charge notice because my car had been parked illegally in the car park of what appears to be a local playing field.
At no point was I informed that my vehicle would be parked anywhere other than a secure, authorised parking facility. Had I known this, I would never have used the service.
I am now left having to deal with and pay a £100 fine for something that was completely outside of my control. The whole purpose of using a meet-and-greet service is to have peace of mind while travelling, but this experience has been the exact opposite.
Very disappointing and I would not use this company again.

Please avoid Saro Parking atall costs
If you use Birmingham Airport and use Saro Parkings meet and greet service please be aware that the likely hood is your car will be taken to the Holiday Inn Express Birmingham NEC,Bickenhill Parkway,When your car is returned to you please expect a £100 fine from Parkmaven as your car will not have had any parking charges paid.If you do speak to a member of staff they will give you a email address to get it sorted.SADLY this doesnt happen.PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY BUSINESS,a bunch of scammers

May 15th my son used A&k meet and greet Birmingham. He was out of the country from 14th to late evening on 17th May. He's since received a parking penalty notice for his car being parked at the nec Holiday Inn. Not in the meet and greet facility. No response to emails or phone calls. Taken the issue to BBC Watchdog. Would definitely Not recommend!?

Warning – Received Parking Charge After Using Meet & Greet Service
WARNING – Please read before booking with this company.
I booked a meet and greet parking service believing it was connected to Birmingham Airport, but after returning from my trip I ended up receiving a parking charge notice because my vehicle had apparently been parked in a hotel car park instead of the advertised secure airport parking.
After looking into the issue further, I discovered a very similar incident had already happened to another couple travelling to Ireland earlier in April, and their story was widely shared on social media and reported by Birmingham Live.
Seeing such a similar situation happen to other customers before my own experience has been extremely concerning.
The whole situation caused unnecessary stress after returning from holiday, especially trying to get clear answers while being passed between different company names and contact details. I have also become concerned after receiving suspicious scam-style text messages relating to the parking charge afterwards.
I would strongly advise anyone booking airport parking to double-check that they are using the official Birmingham Airport website or a fully verified provider before handing over their vehicle.
A holiday should not end with parking fines, stress, and uncertainty about where your car has actually been parked.

I booked airport parking online and, the day before travelling, I was informed that I had been upgraded to meet-and-greet valet parking. I was pleased with this upgrade and initially felt positive about the service.
Upon arriving at the airport with my 10-year-old son, a member of staff collected my vehicle, provided the necessary paperwork, and advised me to call once I had collected my luggage on my return so my vehicle could be prepared and brought to the collection point.
After returning and collecting our luggage, I called as instructed and was advised it would take approximately 20 minutes for my vehicle to arrive. After waiting 30 minutes without any sign of my car, I called again and was told that someone should already have been there with it.
I then waited a further 20 minutes and still no vehicle arrived. When I contacted the company again, the staff member I spoke to was dismissive, frustrated, and unhelpful. Rather than offering an explanation or attempting to resolve the issue, I was told there was nothing they could do before the call was abruptly ended.
At this point, myself and my 10-year-old son had been left waiting for over an hour. After a total wait of 1 hour and 35 minutes, I called again and explained that if my vehicle was not returned promptly, I would have no option but to consider contacting the police.
In total, we waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for my vehicle to be returned. While delays can happen, poor communication, lack of accountability, and the dismissive attitude shown towards customers are completely unacceptable.
If giving zero stars were an option, I would. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this company.

I booked Park & Ride parking via a booking agent for Birmingham Airport.
The evening before travel, I received a message stating that the booking had been changed to a Meet & Greet service, with different instructions and a different contact number. This was not the service I had originally booked.
As this involved handing over my car to be driven away under a new arrangement at very short notice, I was not comfortable proceeding and chose not to use the service.
I made multiple attempts to contact the operator directly to resolve the issue but received no response. The lack of communication was particularly frustrating given the timing, just before travel.
The booking agent was also unable to contact this company (perhaps they will drop them eventually from their site). The matter was eventually resolved by the booking agent after escalation, and a full refund was issued. However, the experience itself was unnecessarily stressful and avoidable.
Absolutely appalling service
Booked parking as we thought it would be quicker and easier than getting the train with our bags. How wrong we were. We were left standing in the carpark for an hour and a half after calling to say that we had arrived back at the airport. When they finally brought our car, all the driver could say was that it wasn't his fault. No apology on behalf of the company until I suggested it might be a good idea and no attempt to make up for us having to stand in the cold for longer than it would have taken to get the train home. Next time I'll use public transport.
Overpriced and not clear where the drop and go is from!
So in the advert it was not very clear at all where the drop and go was from. It’s actually from Birmingham international train station so you need to get the monorail to the airport, which is no good if you’re getting an early morning flight like I was as it does not run at this time. Once I’d booked it and read the email confirmation it became clear where the drop and go was from so I tried to cancel it straight away. They refused to refund me, which I felt was not very fair given it was not clear where the drop and go was from on the advert, one would presume the airport for a drop and go service. It’s also very expensive as the drop and go actually at the airport is basically the same price!
Very professional, staff were very friendly helpful. Would definitely use again
It was easy to park and collect my car. Very close to airport. My car battery was flat after parking for two weeks. The staff were helpful. Helped me to restart my battery and was in no time on my way home.
